hey all
man it's been a long time away from the old PC (don't ask it's to painful) so i thought i would give y'all a little hellboy something to look at
this is a pic i coloured recently to blow the cobwebs out of my colouring skills

Nice coloring job! I like how the color goes from saturated at the bottom to muted at the top. The only color issue I see is the batarang rope. It stands out a bit too much for me.

Great work! Collors are moody so that they not only match the feeling of the piece but also Scotie Youngs style. The face expression of HB is just adorable.

Cool piece. The only thing that bothers me is HB's crooked gun. It takes away from the piece.

I like the red one though I think it's a bit too Jokerish if I may say so. I do not fancy the second one- Hb has some problems with his neck on it... It's just too gigantic.

? gun looks fine to me. Also, JG! didn't draw it, Scottie Young did.
Very sweet colors JG!. I'm digging, like Petersen and Stygian, the change in saturation from top to bottom. Your coloring reaally works for this piece, and you have the figures a lot of volume. Good stuff, for sure.

just so i can make my own keyboard shorcuts cos i'm lazy
if you are looking to get into/improve your colouring skills try polykarbon.com this is where i got into colouring the tutorials are great for beginners
Petersen - yeah i do see what you mean now i never noticed that before it does stand out a lot i may go back and change that just drop the colour on it a bit

Oh awesome man, yeah I go there although I haven't tryed the coloring tutorial yet, thanks tho man i'll get on it for sure. :cool:
