I first heard of this film thru this review at a site I just found --> http://www.cyberpunkreview.com/movie/decade/2000-current/wonderful-days-sky-blue/

It seems to be a really good movie but it hasnt been released in th US for some reason.

I'm seriously considering buying a region-free DVD from this site --> http://www.discountanimedvd.com/

Could anyone who's seen it let me know if its worth my $10.

I got to see it in the theater here in Austin and I dug it. It was better than Spirits Within (my only comparison at the time). It's not the best animated film I've ever seen, but I remember wanting to pick it up after watching it, or at least wanting to go to a second screening. I thought there was a really cool Region 3 release, but I have to go try to find it around the interwebs.

It's mostly significant in that it's an advanced all-Korean production... the film itself is okay, but it's no masterpiece of narrative. The animation averages from good to excellent with a couple stumbles, but overall it's of high quality. For $10... yeah, it's worth that.

I agree completely with Ink. Ok movie, more recommended for the quality animation than for the story, but certainly worth a 10 buck purchase.
