Just wanted to say that I really enjoy Mr. Sayger's work. I noticed it in one of the Shiver in the Dark comics at the Comic Carnival on E Washington street where I shop, and really fell in love with the style. It reminded me a lot of parts of one of my favorite series of all time, Marvel's Man-Thing (volume 3, I think, from teh late 90s). That's an amazing series, and something about Stuart Sayger's work really reminds me of that. Except that I'd have to say it surpasses it, as well. As an aspiring comics writer, Mr. Sayger's work has really inspired me.
I wrote a short bit about this as well earlier today at my blog (http://robbrookswriter.blogspot.com/).

Hey man... Thanks for the kind words about my work! The folks at comic carnival have always been so good to me! I need to get over there again and do a signing... I have to ask.. how did you come across my work.. Did you see it in INTAKE WEEKLY today..?

I did happen across it in INTAKE yesterday. I was already familiar with your work, but seeing that prompted me to go to your website, where I saw that you had a forum here. I've seen your books at my comic shop, and I've seen your work at some of the conventions at 21st and Shadeland. (I'm the quiet guy who looks around in awe at everything, but is too shy to introduce himself to people.) I also saw a display set up at Half-Price books, can't remember which location. Either way, I think it's really awesome, and I really dig the fact that you self-publish your stuff. Way to go.

Rob... O.K.. after reading that you HAVE to come to the ash show Sunday and bring your copy of my comic to sign! Don't be shy at the shows! All the creators that attend are there for a reason!
See you there!
