So is he going to make an appearance? He's in the handbook, and thus far it looks like everyone in the handbook has appeared. If he does will he be with or against Annihilus?

Its gonna be hard to tell.. given that this series has already given us a few 'unexpected' team-ups (Ronan & Kl'rt, Thanos & Anni, the return of the Silver Surfer as Galactus' herald) it'd be hard to peg where they could take Blastaar.

Personally, I'd love for him to support the United Front (or what's left of it..) and help the revolution. He could be one of the few survivors of the N-Zone's collapse that wasn't recruited into the Centurions. I can actually see *a few* Centurions turn once they see the options they may have in this Universe. Hopefully Terrax snaps out of his mindcontrol and whups some ass proper too, he's definitely due.

My guess is he'll make an appearance in the very end. With Annihilus defeated, he'll probably take over as ruler of the Negative Zone.

This has been bugging (pun not intended) me ever since his profile appeared in the Nova Corps Files. Just where, when and in what capacity will the Living Bomburst turn up, if at all? I guess its going to be either around issue 5-6, if at all as, as you rightly point out, he's going to profit big if Annihilus falls after Galactus has his way, Nova his, etc if you take Giffen's interview at Wizardworls into account. My guess is that if he's presently in our universe, then perhaps he'll be on Hala where Ronan, Super Skrull and Praxagora are heading. Blastarr's son, Burstaar, according to the Corps Files has dealings with the Kree and Ronan so it conceivable his father has links to the Kree too?? Any other ideas??

Maybe he is with the Kree, if he is i'd love to see him on Annihilus' side and face of against Ronan and Super Skrull.

Maybe Thanos has secretly contacted him and they plan to over throw Annihilus' plans making Thanos ruler of much of this universe and Blastarr ruler of much of the negative zone.

Although id love to see him on Annihilus' side just to make it even harder for the heroes and I'd love to see Thanos take on Blastarr!

He'd gladly take that position, good call :) Yeah, Blastie's people are pretty prolific in the N-Zone, I'd expect to see some of them involved, if even in the Centurians..

Typical of the Mad Titan to assume that Blastarr will be on the side of the bad guys..but Blastarr's loyalities, either to good or bad will ultimately benefit only one person...Blastarr himself..He's like that you know....

True indeed, but he probably benefits both ways:

Hero's win - Annihilus is busted his armies are rebelling, Blastarr then seizes control of the negative zone, Annihilus' armies etc

Annihilus wins - Negative zone terratory expanded more room for Blastarr to take over various parts/planets etc, Blastarrs enemies in our universe defeated, Whilst Annihilus is securing control in our universe after his win Blastarr can attempt to seize control back in the negative zone!

Looks like both ways he wins!? Also according to the Nova Corps files he is a category 1 threat level so he will be a big help to who-ever he picks!
