I been hearing about how Tenchi have 5 Light Hawk Wings at the end of the third ova. I just watched all of it including the special and didnt see any mention of it.
Can anyone tell me when he got it? Or maybe i missed something... Tks :)

I believe he is capable of generating many more Light Hawk Wings after the events in the third OVA. Kajishima's doujins show Tenchi generating about six Light Hawk Wings. We also don't know how much further in the future this is.

Aw I see now, thanks ^^ Is there any english dōjinshi or novel yet in the U.S.? I know of the two manga that are released here though.

All of Kajishima's written work has not been translated into english. This includes all of his doujinshi as well as all of his novels. I am just part of a forum where people sometimes scan and translate these written works.

Go to the Ayeka Fan Club messageboard and ask for help, or check out their links. Lots of Tenchi experts share their information in that site.

I wish I got to finish the third OVA. Only saw up to episode 3, would really like to know how the whole sister situation turned out. I know Tenchi GXP takes place after that but that wasn't really centered on Tenchi and his group of friends though. Has it been translated and released yet? The 3rd OVA I mean.

Episodes 4-6 are available domestically right now. The DVD is in stores. In November some time we are also supposed to get OVA3 episode 7 on a 3rd DVD along with a bunch of extras.

I think that was due to Funimation having to license the title seperately since it came after the initial 6 episodes they'd gotten, and they didn't want to make the wait for disc 2 any longer.

To be fair, for the price of a normal DVD, they include a lengthy live action segment with the voice actresses doing stuff, the radio drama, and other extras, as well as a collectable tin for the entire OVA series. Considering tins like that usually add about 10 bucks to the price of a DVD, it's not too shabby.

Does anyonelse remember when Streamline was releasing Nadia, The Secret of Blue Water on VHS with 1 episode per tape?

True. Or the early ADVs with two per tape.

Crap, even the radio drama? I'm now tempted to track it down.

Also, are those the Japanese or American voice actresses in the LA segment?

I believe it's only the Japanese VA's. Though it would be unbelieveably awesome and wierd if they could have the american VA's act out the same skit ^_^ But I don't think it'd be in their budget......

RightStuf's His and Her Circumstances did make nice onscreen use of their english VA's for the next episode previews, mirroring the japanese sides use of the main character's kid sisters VA's announcing the next episode previews in live action. SuperMilkChan also has all-new segments starring the English VA's [really extensive, bizarre ones based on the reviews I've read]

Oh, and to answer the original question, by my count it appeared that Tenchi has 6 Light Hawk Wings now. He produced what looked like a circle with 3 on each side. Also of note is that Tenchi teleports himself at will, and is seen flying through space without the need to breath, and he summons his Light Hawk Wings at will. It appears that after his awakening he is beginning to gain other superhuman powers like Z did.
