What would you write? I felt this thread was needed to go with Gail other two threads. This is going back a ways, but I'd love to write a fiction novel that took place on any of the planets in the CrossGen universe, which to this day represent heaven to me, despite all the wacky unethical garbage that went on behind the scenes.

Would licensed properties count?
I'd like to write comics about The Shadow, Universal Soldier, Buck Rogers In The 25th Century, Boba Fett, Team Tomorrow (Aberrant), Shadowrun, Judge Dredd, Battlefleet Gothic/line of WarHammer 40k line, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Chameleon ( www.imdb.com/title/tt0174543), Discworld, Perfect Dark, The X-Files, Evil Dead, Medievil, Starfox Adventures, Mortal Kombat, Dog the Bounty Hunter (the show is basically a comic come to life anyway! He even *looks* like a comic anti-hero!), Resident Evil, Dresden Files, Galaxy Angel, Outlaw Star, Yu Yu Hakusho, Negima, Brimstone, Buffy, Angel (Buffy), Serenity (*), Kill Bill, Alias: Sydney Bristow, Sherlock Holmes
(*) takes place after the movie ends

Aside from those crazy hopefully original ideas floating around my head?
Hmm... well assuming I had a good enough story..
Something in the Hellboy verse. Dunno if I'd want to touch the big guy's main tale.
Something with Guy Davis's the Marquis now that I thought his work on BPRD.
Battle Pope wins out of all the Kirkman books. I love the wrongness of Jesus acting like the dude from Big Lebowski.
That old Leonard Nemoy's Primortals. What the hell happened to that? (Actually, where the hell happened to that in my house?)
Actually, just today I thought of how neat and goofy it would be to cross over two completely diffent Oni comics I like.
Crap. I should write it just for the crap of it. Though I don't think anyone would ever want to write or read a fan written piece of fiction based on other people's character. Why would I write such a thing. It's not like there's some sort of world wide communations network, a web of systems and sites, where I could find a place to post such a thing.
Ack! Shoot me now. I just thought of writing fanfic.
Anyway.. Can I cheat and do manga too?
Tsutomu Nihei's Blame!, certainly there could be tons of sidestories that happened in the immense amounts of time the story covers.
Nightow's Trigun, again, there could be some neat side stories.
Hirano's Hellsing, Acluard is just too damn awesome. Lord knows there are enough fanfics already. Though you could say this of most of these series.
I would NOT want Deathnote because there's no way I could fit anything that good into the machinations of that thriller.

I loved that show when I was a teen but I just saw an episode not too long ago, and man was it bad.
