THE LIFE AND TIMES OF SCROOGE McDUCK COMPANION TPB.

It sold just under half of the numbers of PRIDE OF BAGHDAD, and twice as many as LOSERS: ENDGAME TP or SUPERMAN: INFINITE CITY TPB. And that's just the direct market sales.

Life isn't bad sometimes.

I was happy when I saw that yesterday. How well did The Life and Times do on the charts when it originally shipped?

As I recall, it was just as high, if not better. Where's John Mayo when I need him?

Oh, Joooooohnnnn!

Wait, I take it back. From John Mayo's website:

http://www.comicbookpage.com/SalesEstimates/ChartDefinitions/ShowMonthChart.php?Chart=TopTradesIndex-Diamond&Year=2005&Month=06&FinalOrderIndicator=1

The first SCROOGE TPB came in tenth place for the month it was solicited last year.

Thanks again for mentioning that on your column Augie or I never would have known about it. Now I'm a duck fan.:D

Excellent! Thanks, Wane. I'm glad you took the chance on the book. I haven't heard any complaints from anyone who used it as their foray into the Duck books. I honestly don't read too many of them anymore, myself, but the Rosa tales are always tops on my list.

When this was first solicited the text promised a hardcover version in the near future, so I put off ordering it. Months later there has been no other mention of a HC.

Sorry about not check out this thread sooner. Work has been completely insane this week.

But it looks like you found the answer you were looking for so all is well...
