Cecelia Reyes is still alive **SPOILERS**

I just finished reading the miniseries that is suppose to rap up the Weapon X 2nd vol series. As we all know Cecelia Reyes was seen in Neverland as of Weapon X 2nd vol #5. Well in the following minseries she is seen (but not named) in issue #4 of WPX: Days of Future Now. She is shown in the panel as being part of Chamber's Excelsior group which has "refugees" from Weapon X, as an older Black woman with glasses and braids wearing the standard yellow and blue X- Men training uniform that she wore years ago. When I first saw this woman I thought it may have been her but wasn't sure since she is not named. However my suspicions were confirmed in the next issue.

In issue # 5 she is seen in the last few pages as part of the small team that infiltrates the base to free Rachel Summers. Its the same woman drawn as before and the confirmation comes when she is tending to Wolverine and then next is she shot in the head by Fantomex. Afterwards Rachel says "Fantomex?! What have you--- You killed Cecilia? Why?"

So I guess in the end she ends up dead (damn you Marvel) but she lives past at least 30 years past the age whe thought she died. Anyways I don't think anyone has ever pointed this out as all I ever read about her is that she may or may not be dead as a result of Weapon X vol 2 # 5 but considering WPX: Days of Future Now is a continuation of that story then no she isnt.

most future timelines are OOC. But I just noticed as well in issue 28 of WPX, on the last panel of page 22, there is a computer screen that has the faces of Wolverine, Brent Jackson, Agent Zero, Fantomex, Sauron and an unnamed woman who suspiciously looks like Cecelia Reyes. Underneath all the faces the screen says "Targets" and John Sublime is talking to his assistant Tomes, in the background.

I'm posting this cuz people keep asking me what im talking about. The bottom panel on the computer screen, second person in the second row is who I suspect is Cecilia Reyes. Its from Weapon X v2 #28.

Of course it's not Misty or Frenzy, because all these 6 figures on that screen which all have played an important role in the Weapon X-series, Wolverine, Agent Zero, Agent Jackson Sauron, Fantomex and Reyes. The 2 you mentioned did not play any role in it so it can't be them. Believe me the woman on the screen is Reyes.

If she was still alive according to themselves in number 28, she could not have died off panel in #5!!!

Frenzy was in Days of Future Now, so it's not IMPOSSIBLE that it wasn't her.

I think almost every character and their mother appeared in Days of Future Now though. Frenzy played no part in Weapon X. Plus that pic looks too much like Cecilia.

Please don't hate me for not thinking it's Frenzy. I still like the character and want to see her again.;)

Well if we would take Days of Future now as a proof who survived the Weapon X series then Marrow should be dead since issue 19.
Since in DOFP when everyone met after 20 years Wolverine remembered that Agent Zero killed Marrow resulting in her becoming a martyr for some, resulting in Gene Nation still existing.
By the way the members included Leech (i always wonder if he and Marrow knew each others as kids), Beak, Sunspot and Cargill.

Yes I know she is Puerto Rican that doesn't negate the fact that she is a Black woman. I didnt say African American. I said Black woman. Guess what I'm Latino and I'm as Black as they come (Panameno) :eek: .

lol She definately seems to have let herself go after she left the team. She just needs someone like Billy Tan to make her look gorgeous again, and maybe lose the braids for a change.
