Now I'm drooling:

It's a Wii-specific trailer for the upcoming Marvel Ultimate Alliance videogame. If that doesn't look like the ultimate fun in superhero video games, then I don't know what does.

I'm drooling over this game too, although I'm more likely to go the Playstation 3 route. The two X-Men Legends games were ALOT of fun!

I am also frothing at the mouth. My wife and I beat both X-Men Legends games and this looks alot better! Not sure whether I'll buy it for my PSII or wait for the PSIII version at this point though.

Yeah, but-- but-- but you won't be swinging your controller around to simulate Spidey swinging his web around with the PS3 version. It's not the same! WAH!

Apparently, the PS3 controller is going to have some of the same motion sentivity as the Wii controller. Not to quite such an amazing degree, but still there will be some. That being said, I'm still probably going for the Wii, if only because my more successful older brother/roommate wants to buy PS3.

Not that Sony copied an idea from someone. Nope. Not even a little.

Yeah, the PS3 motion control is a joke by comparison. Tilt and pitch is basically it. And since the developers didn't know about it until Sony told the press, it's unlikely you'll see more than one or two games retrofit the doodad into their games.

Personally, it is that motion sensitive controller thingy that is steering me away from the Wii. I was counting on the PS3 to not have it.

Of course, now would be an obvious time to comment that I have never once even attempted DDR and still scratch my head in wonderment over its popularity.

I feel like Mal in the epsiode "Shindig", staring at the floating chandelier, "What's the point of that, I wonder? I mean, I get how they did it. I just ain't seeing the why." ;)

You need to try DDR. =)

And the Wii will revolutionize videogames! Or die a hideous expensive flop. But I like the idea of something new, so I'm all for it.

I hosted a DDR competition at the library last night. Those kids are insane. My mouth was hanging open through most of it. But no, I'll stick to my handheld controller games.

As for the motion controller, I do give Nintendo credit. They are the best at coming up with new and innovative concepts. Not all become the successful, but they definitely try the hardest.
