Bruce Wayne or Lex Luthor?

Right now, I read that it was Bruce Wayne. I can't remember where I did, though.

Lex has completely lost control of LexCorp after the OYL jump, whereas Bruce has had an entire year to devote to his boys and his company, allowing Wayne Enterprises to flourish. So, I'd definitely say Bruce.

Luthor was wealthier at one point, but Wayne later overtook him.

Yeah, he won real big on the Ocean Liner's casino playing Keno....

Unless Lex has some green stashed away somewhere, I'd say Bruce.

Man, everybody´s loaded int he DCU.

Powergirl, Ted Kord, Booster Gold, Max Lord, Wally......At least a couple of those people lost their fortune and never made it back, though.

For what it's worth, in 2005, Forbes (http://www.forbes.com/2005/11/29/forbes-fictional-rich_cx_mn_de_05fict15land.html) estimated Lex Luthor to be wealthier than Bruce Wayne by the tune of $3.5 billion.

In the DCU, everyone is rich. In the MU, everyone is capable of building killer robots.

FORBES information is outdated.

FORBES might be the best in the business as far as financial matters in the *real* world, but when it comes to measuring the wealth of fictional comic book characters, FORBES has *nothing* on us comic geeks! :D

Does it really matter? What could a 12 billionaire buy that a 10 billionaire couldn't? I don't know how much each was worth but they're both billionaires. Or, at least Lex was until everything was taken from him.

Officially? Bruce.

But come on, you don't think Lex has 13 different offshore accounts under fake names with unclaimed money and bonds? The guy's a one-man Enron.

Yep. Whenever Luthor beats whatever charges are against him, he's always right back on his feet. He even weasled out of going completely insane while holding the office of President of the United States. And he bounced right back! He'll be on top within a few years.

Bruce has more cash.

Currently Bruce is richer since Lex is a fugitive.

Historically Lex is richer since his company was a major conglomerate and the biggest employer in Metropolis - and he was the most powerful person there - while Wayne Enterprises was just one of the more prominent Gotham-based companies.

...while Wayne Enterprises was just one of the more prominent Gotham-based companies.

That's not really true.

That's like saying Stark Enterprises is just a big New York based company. It doesn't mean that they don't have a network.

Jack Zodiac

Tony's company is Stark International. He's a global producer of everything from weapons to medical equipment. I don't think Wayne Enterprises is that large, while LexCorp is an international conglomerate. Or was...

Is Lexcorp publicly owned?

For some reason I think Wayne Enterprises is, so if Lex owns his own business I would think he has more cash than Wayne.

Man, everybody´s loaded int he DCU.I sometimes think access to cash is the greatest superpower of them all.You know how they always say that DC has the most powerful superheroes. :D
