In today's Joe Friday's at Newsarama was asking Joe Q about what's coming up for some artists:
http://www.newsarama.com/NewJoeFridays/NewJoeFridays17.html
NRAMA: Adi Granov?
JQ: Adi is working feverishly on the Iron Man movie but his next schedules project is X-Men Mythos: Colossus
I wonder what other X-Men Mythos: X-Characters they are gonna do.

So far Mike Carey has mentioned that he's working on Mythos: Beast sometime in the future.

Really...this is the first I've heard of this. I wonder if they'll do a Mythos: Cyclops...maybe Mythos: Phoenix

In related news, I really don't like Mark Brook's pencils for the X-Men Annual cover. :o Glad to see the twins though.

Well, he's doing Beast because Hank's his favorite character and he couldn't secure him for his cast. That's why there's a lot of Beast cameos in Adjectiveless X-Men. If Bendis doesn't end up with him for his Mighty Avengers cast, I wouldn't mind Carey getting hold of him for his book. :)

X-Men Mythos: Colossus?
Adi Granov?!!
*squee...!* - Oh my god, I just had a total nerdgasm.
That man's artwork is sheer beauty. I only pray that David Hine isn't the one writing it. At the very least though, I'll be buying this for the art. It's sure to be so fantastic that Colossus himself could appreciate it. :D
This just made my day.

Sorry Hiffy-fiffy. :(
It looks like a cover to a romance novel starring Mystique and Rogue in a heart tugging, sexually provocative tale between mother and foster-daughter.
While these two flying twins watch.
Oh gross.

I love it, except for the way he drew Rogue.
He should have drawn her more like this.

I might buy this. I really like Adi Granov's art. I'd like to know who is writing it though, and when it takes place chronologically. X-Men: Mythos took place in the X-Men's earliest years. Could the X-Men Mythos: Colossus take place during the Cockrum, Byrne, Smith, Romita Jr. or Silvestri eras?

The Mythos books are generally retellings of origins put in a modern context so most likely it would be closer to the Wein/Cockrum source material.

Can someone please explain to me what X-Men Mythos comics are about? I've not heard about them before. Also, does anyone have any more information about the Colossus one? I'll definitely buy it.

Check Will S.'s post people. It's retellings of characters or teams origins in a modern context.

Since all these Mythos books that Marvel has been publishing lately are by Paul Jenkins, I can't help but think he's writing this one. I don't like Paul Jenkins's writing much, so... :(

Not true. Mike Carey's doing the Beast one for instance.

This should be interesting. I hope they do one of Storm that isn't written by Hudlin or Claremont and doesn't involve Black Panther...

She recently had a 4-Part Mini that re-addressed her origins. Ororo: Before the Storm.

Yeah, but I want to see her after the storm, getting all goddess-y on some tribal-ass.

My worry is that Adi Granov won't be able to do this either since he was also slated to do a NA:CW issue but got caught up in his Iron Man movie production work.
I'm still hoping that he'll be able to do it but otherwise I think Marvel might have lost him for good outside of covers.

Not to worry! Marvel can always get John Cassaday or Bryan Hitch to fill in for Granov. Oh, waitaminute...
