Considering theres rumors of Captain America flick being made, theres a possibility that Maria Hill may make the cross-over to the big screen. So just for entertainment purposes, if Maria Hill was in a film, who would you cast to play her.
My first choice would be Jada Pinkett Smith. She's played a few roles that were similar to the character. She has a strong presense, and the talent to able to pull of the role.

So who you would cast as Maria Hill?

Jada was my original pick simply because she could pull off the attitude. i'm not sure who else could do it. Winona Ryder? Natalie Raitano? Michelle Rodriguez? i'm stuck. Maria is supposed to be a chicagoan, though. need a short-framed athletic type. the haircut is easy enough to imitate.

Another person I've considered is Dania Ramirez (Callisto of X3) although, she maybe too young your it.
Sanna Lathan crossed my mind as well, her recent work on Nip/Tuck (early into the season), and her work on AVP is somewhat similar to the Hill character. But the actually look, I don't know...

Annabella Sciorra could be pretty decent

Annabella Sciorra would definitely do the trick. She's so hot (check The Sopranos for that one, in lingerie that is ;)), but also perform as a strong character..
Maybe even Monica Bellucci, but maybe she's too sexy for that role

yeah if Monica Beluchi were cast as Maria Hill, id find it REALLY hard to dislike the woman.
Heck, I think you got it right with Jada Pinkett Smith. She's good enough to pull off Hill's no-nonsense attitude without comming across as some 'bitch on a wheels'. I really love Hill. :).

By the way, this is Monica Bellucci..

Jada is certainly a fantastic choice for Hill, regardless of skintone...I could definitely see her in the role.
I was about to suggest a short haired Angeline Jolie... but I'm assuming they'd save her for Daisy or "Quake."

For some reason I always think of the chick in charge in the Pretender show. I don't know why, I never really saw Pretender very much and don't have a clue who she is. But sure enough, ask the question and that pops into my mind.:o
hmmm.... Jolie as Widow.... Normally I don't care much for her and consider her very over hyped (Mr. and Mrs. Smith being the exception  :D ) But her as a redhead.... Yeah, I'd like to see that.

You mean Andrea Parker?

Nicole Ari Parker could also pull of the roll of Hill

Annabella Sciorra would be perfect. I see Monica Bellucci more as the Contessa.

I'd love to see Monica a Talia in the next Batman movie. But that'll never happen as she's 8 years older than Bale. But she'd be great.

After seeing her as a *badass* battlestar commander, I'd say Michelle Forbes - ironically, cast at one point as Miranda Zero IIRC.

Fun thread, but I seriously doubt Hill'd be in a Cap movie.
My pick? Uh, how old is Maria Hill supposed to be?

You know who could totally pull it off these days, and actually be of a somewhat believable age to be a hot chick running an espionage agency? Lucy Lawless.
And she still looks pretty good. I saw her in season 2 of Veronica Mars.

Yep. And I generally think Hill is drawn a little too young to be the head of SHIELD, and while Xena is probably a little too young also, she'd still fit the bill better. And damned if she doesn't have the ballbusting skills.

Wasn't that part of the point of why she was put in that position? That being younger and less experienced than Fury would make it easier for the government to control her agenda?
Besides, they can always claim she's taking the Infinity Formula like Fury and Natasha and Dum-Dum. (Dugan takes the formula, right?)

i think she's too tall. part of Hill's appeal is that she's not as physically imposing as she seems to think she is. so far, the best suggestion i've seen is Jada Pinkett. despite her race she just has the total package (look, hairstyle, and attitude).

That's what the Great Powers of the UN have hoped for, particularly the White House in Washington...

I don't think any of Fury's Original Howler buddies take the Formula. Nick was the only one of the lot. How the others have aged so well remains a mystery of its own...
