I recently switch over my cable pay movie channels from HBO and Skinamax to Showtime and Starz and this morning my wife asked me to watch a movie with her. I left it up to my wife to choose and so chose a movie with this Indian actress named Aishwarya Rai in it.

So I wait for the question I know is going to come.

Do you think she is pretty?

"I say no no baby she really ain't nothing special."

When I was really thinking Holy god that's one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my life.

Anyone know any info on this girl and where I can find more of her movies?

Is she going to make movies in America ?

she has made an english movie, my female friend forced me to watch it called bride and predudice i think and yes, she is gorgeous

That's the one I saw. I thought it was a Bollywood movie becuase they never kissed and i was told that was not allowed in Bollywood movies.

If I was Martin Henderson I would have been pissed off that I did not get at least a kiss out of it.

Roger Ebert said " Not only is she the most beautiful woman in the world she is also the second most beautiful woman in the world.

I don't agree with Ebert on much but this statement is hard to argue with.

Then again I have not seen all the world's women but I can't wrap my head around the idea of a woman more beautiful then her.

I've been a "fan" of Aishwarya Rai for awhile now, and yes, she is crazy gorgeous. She's one of those women who (for me) is so perfect she is on the edge of being weird looking. If that makes any sense.

I've never understood the infatuation many have with her. Don't get me wrong, she is extremely attractive. But there are many extremely attractive women. Other than her distinctive eyes there isn't much about her, IMO, that sets her above other extremely attractive women and there are quite a few whom I find more attractive. Again, its like comparing two masterpieces but the way some act its like there is this woman and no one else.

She is pretty damn attractive, though. I don't obsess about her, or kiss my pillow every night pretending it's her, or anything, I just think she's super hot. She looks like a cross between Monica Bellucci and Penelope Cruz, both also super hot.

Anyway, she is indeed absurdly gorgeous. I'm not sure what is that sets her apart from all the other model-types that Bollywood seems to use, it's definatly there.

Monica Belluci or Paz Vega might still top her, though.

And what's even better? She can actually ACT.

I saw her movie "Bride and Prejudice" last year. An American-Bollywood production. I liked it a lot.

It's nice to know that she's not another brainless beauty.
