My gf is a Jean Grey/Phoenix fan and she found some light reading online and came across a few mini series involving Jean and Cyclops, can anyone clue me in on what books she might be refering too? What good cyclops/ jean grey/phoenix stories are there that i might find in back issue bins or online?

well, before you get the bold patrol posting, I'll give it a whirl.

Probably the best known Cyke/Jean/Phoenix stories would be the Dark Phoenix saga, Adventures of Cyke and Phoenix, and the Further Adventures of Cyke and Phoenix. The first 70 issues of the original x-factor we're some pretty good Jean and Cyke stories also. Issue 17 springs to mind right away.

Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix

It's a nice story.

Another good one is Uncanny X-Men #308

X-Men (2nd) #30, 36, 71

Some earlier stuff is the entire Phoenix/Dark Phoenix stuff

X-Factor #1-70 contain a lot of good Scott/Jean stuff.

Even Phoenix Endsong had some good moments.

I have Dark Phoenix saga, the rest i didnt know about. There are two books in Barnes and Noble i saw that were called Giant Sized Uncanny X-men or something like that and they reprinted Giant Sized X-men 1, Uncanny 94-110 or something, anything worth picking up in those two books too?

Yea, there are some moments in those issues. Espically when Jean becomes Phoenix in #101.

My favorite I think would be X-factor #17, or X-men #71.

Try X-Men in the 60's, and the original X-Factor. 70's X-Men has lots of classic Scott/Jean stuff in it too. :)
