Ultimate Batman

okok. im not talking about an ultimate universe for DC comics, but what if. you could take any version of Batman(Comic-Modern, Silver, Golden Age, TV series-Adam West, Movie-Batman Begins, 89 Batman w/e), get any Batmobile and any Batsuit hes ever used in his 67 year history, and any gadgets and utility belt style hes ever used and combine it into one. as the. Ultimate. Batman.

Mine:

Version- Comic, Modern Age

Batsuit- Nomex survival suit with kevlar bi-weave off Batman Begins, 200,000 volt electric suit taser, cloaking device which renders Batman virtually invisible, Graphite kevlar reinforced cowl equipped with night vision, earphone, comm device and voice-activated control for the Batmobile, memory cloth cape, bronze bladed arm gauntlets, ninja spiked boots which acts as an armored calf and shin guard with steel toe for scaling buildings, and a lead shot in glove for an extra added punch

Batmobile- Batman 89 Batmobile with all standard weapons and gadgets.


Utility Belt and Gadgets: Comic utility belt with magnetic attatch grapple point, mini batarangs off Broken City with poisoned-tips(for immediate sedation), normal batarangs acid etched, bomb batarangs, and an electric auto-tracking batarang, grapple gun off Batman Begins, adhesive explosives, flashbangs, nerve and tear gas, acetylene torch, sonics, handgun with kriptonyte-cased bullets, rebreather, teleportation device, flexi-cuffs, and a tranquilizer gun with darts, HF transporters, pick locks and a fingerprint kit.

I gotta say, Batman The Animated Series pretty much did what you said. Now if Timm and company were to redo it today, they certainly have more to draw from, but I definately point towards that Animated series as an Ultimate Batman.

Though I think Begins did a good job too, which is nice as that what a comic book film should be. The film version should be a distilled version of the character, like you said, taking the best parts and essence of the character and presenting us with an ultimate form. I actually really love that Batmobile.

Personally, in don't think Marvel's Ultimate line does that. I think it fails its name there. There are many twists the new authors take that are done more for their interests and telling their story than distilling the character to an ultimate form.

yea i love that Batmobile too. and i just realized. its actually just the one on Batman Returns. :eek: and i really actually liked the Tumbler alot more when Begins first came out, but i just cant seem to let go of that sleek, clean cut work of art with that vette stingray look. its just soo cool IMO:cool:
