Unfortunately, for two nights only. A digitally restored and remastered version of the 1978 horror-thriller gets special showings Oct. 30 and Oct. 31 in 125 theaters. Viewers also get a 20-minute featurette on the making of the film, its horror progeny and Halloween 9, due Oct. 19, 2007.

Shoot! I would love to see this, and it's actually playing at the theatre that we usually go to, but the 30th and 31st and no good for me.:(

Nice. Halloween is my favorite horror movie (and series). And since it's playing in Wilmington I'll probably go see it on the 30th.

As much as I love the first Halloween, it isn't showing anywhere close to me, so I'll have to wait and pick up the sure-to-be released digitally restored and remasterd DVD version.
