I have never seen either of the two Superman serials, and am really excited to see these coming on the tube.

I've recently just saw the two Batman serials from the 40's and I really liked them. Yeah there was alot of stuff that looked kind of terrible but they were also alot of fun.

I kind of liked that early take on Batman from when before that stuff sort of became part of the icon and was new and fresh and not set in stone.

I'm really curious to see the Superman stuff when I get a chance.

well the Superman serial continues this saturday morning.

I've only seen the Batman and Robin serial. I barely remember it but I do recall the big ears. For my money the Adventures of Captain Marvel and the Phantom are the best superhero serials. But then I haven't seen them all.

There is an old Batman/Superman radio show I believe. I havent heard it yet but it's on my list.

I don't think it costs that much; I'll check out Amazon.com... they'd be cool to have.

I've seen the old Captain Marvel serials and they were great. He definetly didnt have a "no kill" policy. I just remember Captain Marvel throwing guys off of cliffs and one point he manned a machine gun and shot guys in the back as they were running away.
