Hey does anyone remember this storyline? it's a two-parter in the macfarlane era of Spider-man. The story is about the Demon possessed hobgoblin who kills a bunch of people and takes a child called "Adam" as his protege. Ghost Rider hears about it and tracks him down in fact I believe it's the first time Spidey meets Ghost Rider.

The artwork is amazing espically the Hobgoblin who has this awesome cloak thing going on which in my view is still the best use of a cloak in comics to date. It used to be everywhere in the UK as a cheap 6 quid graphic novel and it to me is my favourite Spidey Story since it's always been more or less my first Spidey Story I really read.

Good art, I'll agree with that. Its the Spider-Man series that came out in 1990, #s6 and #7

Yep there the ones I'm on about.

As for TPB it was... breifily the version I have is those two issues reprinted under the name Masques. However I am talking about years and years ago I was given it was I was young so its that far back. Now? I do not know

I actually just reread this story a couple weeks ago. Great art, as expected, but extremely slight on story. The idea of the demonic Hobgoblin as a whacked-out Christian was actually pretty brilliant, though.

This was my first exposure to Ghost Rider, I believe. He kicked an insane amount of ass (I remember reading this for the first time, sitting in the food court of the mall where I bought it, and actually exclaiming "Whoa!" out loud when GR yanks the glider out from under Hobby :) ). But he didn't come off looking very heroic. He just dived right into the fight without worrying about the innocent's safety, when from reading his series you'd realize they're his number one concern.
