I was given this comic about 10 years ago and was wondering who signed it. The person who gave it to me said they had it signed at a convention or something. Who's name is that and is there a way to verify the signature before I put it on e-bay? Not that I think the comic will be worth much. Thanks.

I think you might have more luck on the Classic forum.

Well, that certainly looks like John Bryne's signature. He wrote & pencilled the issue, as well & pencilling & inking the cover.

It's John Byrne's signature.

Yes he did. He also did alot of work in those "X-Men comics" She-Hulk is threatening to rip-up.
Personally I'm looking for a copy of "Spidey Superstories" signed by Morgan Freeman. After all, "Easy Reader" did say that it was easy to read.:D

That's John Byrne's signature? Wow.

He should've gone into medicine.

I have a couple of things signed by him, and John Byrne definitely has on of the better signatures in the comics industry. Some guys I have stuff signed by (like Silvestri) could be almost anyone's sig! I only know it was his because I saw him sign it!
