In my area Angel shows 6 in the morning, so since I’ve been waking up so early I’ve been re-watching the episodes. Anyhoo an episode came on, that when it first aired, I thought was nothing more than a filler/throw away episode. It’s the episode where Gunn visits his old friends to see that their ways are changing, becoming more extreme, with a new member from Miami who clearly has no love for gun introducing the group to extreme tactics. Cut to the end of the episode (the best part), comes to find out a string of innocent demon killings were being executed by Gunn’s old gang, ending with a really tense stand-off in Lorne’s bar. With innocent demons being held at gunpoint but cant defend themselves due to a protection spell stopping demons from harming others. When I first saw the episode I didn’t realize how good it was, but when I watched it last week I thought, “wow how did this episode pas me by”
