Kyle MacLachlan

I was watching "InJustice" the other night and it occurred to me that the cool Mr. MacLachlan could be Robert Vaughn and David McCallum mashed together.

One for the older viewers amongst us, I think. Does anyone agree?

Now that you mention it, yeah, I see it. Robert Vaughn's looks but MacCallum's intensity.

It's an interesting idea, and he's long been an actor I enjoyed. I've not been so keen on the characters he's played of late; but that's because I still want him to be the protagonist, and even in his short-lived Injustice, I found him to be antagonizing - at least to me.

Oh yeah he could be Napolean Solo. But finding an actor to play Illya Kuryakin has been a trouble, the only one I thought might be able to pull is off is Paul Bettany. Of course I always thought Bruce Campbell would make a fun Napolean Solo as well.

the thing to do with Quiller and wow wouldnt that be a great series. is pick a now old actor and computer generate him and his surroundings ala sin city , no way any studio could budget quillers. maybee i just being crazy, but .... Connery? he could do the voices for all the scripts now in case he kicks the bucket.
I dont know if Quiller was so much masochism as Richard Starks Parker's relentlessnes.
Trivia then. name three oscar calibar actors to play Parkers charachter under different alias's

That was my first thought when I saw him in Injustice (I just saw Hu$tle earlier that week). They really need to make a Man from U.N.C.L.E. movie and put him in it.

Kyle Maclachlan's one of my favorite actors. I love all of his work with David Lynch, but not even he can make me watch Desperate Housewives. ;)

No, he's not. They just have a strong resemblance. (I remember the MST3K guys once referred to Vaughn as "the prototype Kyle Maclachlan".)

Ah yes. The local boy. MacLachlan is from my hometown of Yakima. I even attended the same highschool he graduated from, Eisenhower High.
