I keep expecting Dan Didio to jump out of the shadows and stab me to death for having laughed at the Giffen books. The way that bunch of characters has been screwed goes way beyond coincidence at this point.

You realize that Dido and company are building up his death and speculation and making u hate them and trashed booster for a reason... he is coming back in one form or another, and his return will be one of the greatest things and in the light of us all he'll be a giant hero, and everyone will cheer and shut up wen they dc lies to us all so bad...
either as rip hunter.... a time traveler.... supernova... or something like that....
...and if not... we'll kill Dan!:D

and to be honest i think that supernova is booster for one big reason, all 6 big characters were said to be appearing through out 52, sum more time for others... if boosters supernova, then hes shown continous through out and cheats the system;)

No tears here. It's not like Booster was making DC a lot of money, and at the end of the day that is what it's about.

I've been reading DC for about 17 years now, and he's always seemed rather lame to me.

Hey, Superman was there. And for all we know Batman was too, he was just hiding. Same for Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman was sticking to the shadows for a good part of the year, then she became (blech) Diana Prince. She couldn't have just shown up, in either identity, and neither could Bruce.

In fact, from now on, I'm going to believe that was the case. And then someday I'll write it into continuity :p

I've been reading DC Comics for over 20 years and I always thought Booster was a unique concept. Not lame, but at times poorly handled and not used to his potential. A self-serving superhero would've been great for many stories that you couldn't tell with otherwise motivated heroes.

Too bad DC didn't seem to feel like it was worth the effort.

Booster was probably the most realistic character in all of comics. I'm a firm believer that if people had powers in real life, the majority of them would be more like Booster (seeking fame and fortune) than like Superman (selfless protector who wants nothing in return). It's ashame DC didn't see the potential of his character.

I'm not sure what i think on the whole booster/supernova thing, but i will say i'd rather have Booster then Nova if it's true.

that being said, IF HE's NOVA, then The Booster that died in Nova's arms isn't another Booster from an alternate time line, but a "fake" Booster the real Booster created to figure out whose really mucking with the time line and destroying things. Just a pure guess.

i sure hope so,.... booster gave a sense of cheer and happiness to all the evil and fighting, and to hype his death that much theres gotta be a twist that will make everyone, who booed and got pissed at Dido and Waid and company for killing booster, step back and shut up and look at booster shine like gold whether as michael carter, rip hunter, or someone even supernova.
like they said before, theres always a loophole... even quting wacker, sure booster may be dead.. but theres always gonna be a 'booster gold' of the future that can come back'

I don't care what the creators say, I'm positive Booster will be back before 52 finishes. I think the comments of Didio are deliberate disinformation.
