Ever since DVD's came out with the alternate endings for movies, I was wondering if comics were going to do this?
Picture the alternate endings for the Crisis,Kingdom Come,Zero Hour, Identity Crisis and Infinite Crisis, what would that be like? Just imagine.

A good alternate ending for Infinite Crisis would have been the Guardians putting down Superboy-Prime like the mad dog that he is, instead of being reserved as another plot device. Although, I don't really believe any alternate ending could have improved IC very much.

Alternate ending for Crisis on Infinite Earths:

The E2 Superman, distraught over the loss of Lois (and in this Alternate Ending there would be no "Paradise Dimension" Deus Ex Machina), flees into space. During his travels, he is pulled into a wormhole that sends him back in time. Going to Krypton, he becomes a worthy citizen and is one of the few to believe Jor-El as he recommends evacuating everyone. Seconds before the planet is doomed to explode, he watches up as Kal-El's spaceship is launched. He smiles, looks to the reader (breaking the fourth wall), and does his famous Wink. Narration states: "Worlds may live, worlds may die, but we remember the heroes."

I say we, as in we, the readers, will always remember people, even if they ARE retconned out of existance.

I like that.

My alternate ending would just be one where the point of IC is made clear in that there is a clear conclusion to the black and white E2 vs gray E1 debate. And E2 Supes wouldn't die.

Alternate ending for Devin Grayson's Titans #13:

After provoking Kory into attacking him, Dick suddenly realizes what a fool he's been and begs her forgiveness. This leads gradually to a resumption of their love affair, and they get married and start a family.

Alternate ending to #12 of the current Legion series:

Dreamy survives the collapse of Legion headquarters. Brainy is so grateful to see her still alive that he impulsively proposes to her. They get married and Brainy starts to feel differently about Dreamy's powers.

I read someplace that the orginal plan for CoIE was to have the Earth 1 Superman get killed in the final battle and as everyone morns his loss, the Earth 2 Superman takes off age makeup and we discover he has stayed young but pretended to age for Lois' sake. He assumes Earth 1 Superman's identity. It was nixed as they wanted to do a total retcon story, Man of Steel.

Identity Crisis: Ray figures out what's going on about five issues earlier, and confronts Jean. He immediately spots her story for the bull it is and realizes she's trying to cop an insanity plea. The heroes get her some real psychiatric help.

The proposed alternate ending to CoIE was actually just something Chris Claremont suggested, not really something that was planned.

There actually is a real alternate ending in the CoIE novelization.

In the novelization, Superboy Prime and Darkseid don't appear at all and Alex returns to the positive matter universe. During the final battle Barry Allen's ghost channels the speed force into Earth-2 Superman to help him fight the Anti-Monitor. Upon delivering the final punch, Earth-2 Superman dies and rejoins Lois in the afterlife.

The only ending to IC that could have saved that train wreck would be if someone realized that all the events were fake, either a dream sequence or part of some scare tactic devised by a greater being.

Orgrinal was Diana giving Clark a pair of glasses before he went back to using a giant plow to reclaim devistated kansas.

In the graphic Novel the ending was the dinner scene with Bruce in Planet Krypton were Wonder woman anounces she is pregnant and askes Bruce to be the God father!

That scene is in the tpb version of Kingdom Come.

And Kite man woke up saying "*phew* it was all a bad dream....".....while flying straight into a building, crashing head first, meanwhile batmite rants about mxy forgetting to pick up milk on the way home, and martian manhunter recieves anonymously 20,000 pizzas at the satalite and the only evidence is the sound of laughter at the speed of light. THE END:D

Sounds like it would work more for digital comics imo, but it might replace the new 52(not exactly a bad thing) so DC might not go for it.

Funny DC never made a book (other than Elseworlds) that really deals with this subject since Marvel has been doing it since 1977 (What If... Spider-Man joined the Fantastic Four?).
