How Exactly Does Magneto's Force Pulls Effect People?

PietroSpeed, if this is what you mean then it is based on Iron in a persons blood. Magneto would have no control over a person without magnetic metal. In this case it is just him pulling the iron in the body and pulling it apart.

There is another instance maybe, Magento is powerful enough to manipulate the electromagnetic spectrum to a degree, he could easily manipulate it enough to case electrical fields or blasts that can rip a man apart.

I think it works the same as a force field. He creates enough energy to become solid and pulls or pushes his opponents all he wants. I think that's what you meant..... I could be wrong...

Maybe an electromagnetic pulse? Isn't that how he killed Jean in NXM, if that's the case I think it causes a stroke, on UXM.Net the issue summary for Planet X #5 says Magneto tells jean she is having a "planetary-scale stroke". Hope that's helpful :D

Thats one thing about Mags I haven't decided if I like or hate; his power potiential is pretty vague.

Edit: And he doesn't(or shouldn't) affect people simply because of the iron in their blood. All things are affected by magnetism, it's just to a far greater extent for certain metals.

No, it's not. EMPs do not work that way. First they only effect electrical systems. Yes they might do a small amount of damage to the human brain due to it's electrical nature but mostly, EMP to a human is harmless.

If a nuclear bomb was set off in space above earth, the emp from it would destory most electrical devices on earth. Humans would be fine.

The poster is talking about Magneto's Force Pulse. According to Claremont it was the first time he exibited his mutant power and it wiped out an entire city killing tens of thousands.

Claremont also had Magneto do a Force Pulse in his AU story X-Men the End and in that one he wipes out all life on an entire planet.

Zaladane draiining energy and magneto getting it back is just manipulating what is already there. Magneto is human and has a natural occuring bio-energy like everyone else.

Glowing eyes? i dunno, a by product.

And the magnetosphere (not only sounds funny) but is made up...what was it?

anyway, no character can actually generate energy adnenergy can neither be destoryed or created, just changed.
