STEEL MAGNOLIAS. Sally Field's scene in the graveyard always leaves me a blubbering ball a'mush no matter how many times I've seen the movie.

I'd be one of them. Hilarious movie, though Andie MacDowell is terrible in it.

I'll add the classic "Roman Holiday". I'm a huge Gregory Peck fan and who doesn't love Audrey Hepburn?

BLACK NARCISSUS is atmospheric and creepy enough to almost qualify as a horror movie. Especially in the last half hour when that one nun really slips her leash. You know what I mean.

Even with Julie Andrews as a trasvestite, I have trouble thinking of any Blake Edwards film as a "chick flic".

For myself, I actually thought that The Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood was really good.

But then I have always been a fan of Ellen Burstyn.

I loved her in the Exorcist, Resurection and Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore and she is the only reason that I even considered going to see the remake of the Wicker Man.

That movie sucked so bad, women should hate it.

I think this movie is universally loved and may not qualify as a chick flix but The Princess Bride is one of my favorite movies ever.

Yes, my guilty Chick Flik pleasure is "Say Anything". Part of the reason is that everyone in school and afterwards made comments that I am the Lloyd Dobler of my generation. At least in my neck of the woods.

Does Heathers count as a chick flick?

I had no idea that a guy can threaten to blow up his enemies in a chick flick.

BEACHES, forgot that one.

That should get a special award for "chick film guys cover their faces after seeing so you can't tell that they've been crying their eyes out."

Not that I ever did that after watching Beaches.

Nope. Never cried watching Beaches.

Never.

Not once.

Didn't even get choked up.

Not a sniffle.

If The Princess Bride qualifies as a chick flick then that tops my list.

Another one that I've enjoyed multiple viewings is Two Ninas (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0162024/).

My Sassy Girl - Korean Romantic Comedy it's a good model for how to make a chick flick that guys would dig as well, a classic.
