Hey so I'm interested in picking up a superman trade, I've never been a fan but I'm trying to slowly ease myself into the DCU so I want to know what are some of the better Superman trades out there.

Superman for All Seasons is my favorite. It's a nice history of Superman early on.

They recently put trades out from when they reintroduced Superman in the mid-80s. They are the "Man of Steel" trades. Their are several volumes out now.

Of course, if you want to keep up with the current stuff, get the Up, Up and Away trade (or is it only in hardcover now?). It is an awesome story, and sets things up for what's going on now, and in the future.

A fellow Superman fan! I would suggest the "Man of Steel" softcover issues. It's a great place a Superman newbiw to start. It's post crisis and reintroduces all the characters of the Series. They have Man of Steel Volume 1,2,3,4, out now with 5 coming out in November. Also check out my site supermandatabase.com for a great guide on the Superman comic series.

All Star Superman #1-5 are amongst the best Superman stories DC has released in many, many years. Pick up the first issue and see if you like it.
