View Full Version : Wolverine: CFL or NFL Jersey?

I have seen alot of Marvel characters wear or show their support for NFL teams like Gambit is a Saints fan while Cable is a Jets fan (tough lost today), I think that Wolverine should wear a CFL Jersey or a NFL Jersey like an Eagles one for example say Brian Dawkins #20.
This is just for fun but Wolverine would look great in a Brian Dawkins Jersey IMHO.

C'mon, Logan's a total Maple Leafs fan. I could definitely see Colossus wearing a Steelers jersy, though.

well, the Chargers were blue and gold... but Flutie also played for Calgary in the CFL too, didn't he? And Toronto, IIRC.

I don't think American football is brutal enough for Wolverine. I definitely see him as a hockey fan.

I think Logan has to like football for living in America for awhile but just to mess around his teams are:

NFL:Buffalo Bills - a blue collar manly man's team for a blue collar manly man
MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates - I just think the jersey would look bad ass on him
NBA: Toronto Raptors - Logan and basketball don't mix too much so I'm just picking the only Canadian team. Although the Pistons might be a good fit.
NHL: Definitely an Oilers/or Flames fan. I'd say the Sabres for an American team.
English Premiership: Sheffield United!!!!!

I see Logan being a Giants fan, living in New York and all. Either that or the Redskins. Not sure why. I guess because of all the tradition and whatnot.

Why is Logan a Leafs fan? Isn't he a Western Canadian? Shouldn't he be a Flames, Oilers, or maybe Canucks fan and hate the Leafs?

I know Logan mentioned the Leafs being down in the second in Deadly Genesis, but I took that as him as rooting for whoever is playing the Leafs.


Also, since Kitty is a Cubs fan (Poor Kitty), that might make her a Bears fan as well. Although she likes figure skating, I don't see Kitty as a hockey fan, but the Hawks have a cool sweater.

according to Generation M he's a soccer fan which was weird cuz he'd never shown any interest in sports of any kind before that...

he's always been portrayed more as an artsy fartsy indie music snob type......

Baseball = American.
Football = Its roots come from the UK and rugby, but it was organized and developed in Canada. The first "pro game" was played between McGill and Harvard using the only existing rules at the time, the Canadian rules.
Basketball = Invented by James Naismith, a Canadian.
Hockey = Its roots come from Norway, but the game itself is borne in Canada, and was first organized at McGill.

The only American Sport is baseball.
