Amazing photography. Also, yeah, heart wrenching.

I remember seeing this one before somewhere, a newspaper, Time, or National Geographic. Maybe I even saw his work in that photo class I took.

Also, it's interesting to see the Afganistan photos are from ten years ago. Now we weren't involved in those civil wars in Afganistan. Well, not directly. As for backing one side against the Soviets, supplying arms and landmines whose effects you still see... that's another story.
