Nightcrawler

Welcome to our match today. Please read and consider both strategies before voting on the one you think would win. Discussion is appreciated.
Jeff-E- Blink, Ronan the Accuser, Pip the Troll, Bishop, Nitro, Deadpool, Sunfire, Tag, Paibok, Blind Alfred
Nightcrawler- Marvel Girl, Enchantress, Scrambler, Gideon
Here is Nightcrawler's strategy-
Phase 1
• Marvel Girl takes control of Nitro, and makes him explode in the middle of his team. In the same instant, Enchantress teleports my team 100 yards into the air above Jeff-E’s team, and Marvel Girl creates a telekinetic platform for them to stand on. She then creates psionic static in the minds of my opponent’s team, keeping them from concentrating. Scrambler plays defense, touching anyone who might teleport into my team.
• Enchantress teleports herself and Scrambler into Jeff’s team. Scrambler immediately goes for Paibok, touching and killing him if he can.
• Enchantress appears right behind Ronan, and kisses him. Between Marvel Girl’s psychic confusion and her powerful magic, Ronan be under her control.
• Gideon copies the powers of Marvel Girl, Sunfire, and Paibok.
Phase 2
• Marvel Girl puts Blink to sleep. She maintains her psionic static.
• Enchantress tells Ronan to attack his team, and he has to comply.
• Scrambler touches Bishop, knocking him out.
• Gideon flies down and lets of huge blasts of energy (from Sunfire and Paibok) at Sunfire. If necessary, Gideon turns off Sunfire’s brain.
Phase 3
• Marvel Girl and Gideon put the remaining members of Jeff’s team to sleep. Gideon incinerates anyone who resists.
• After everyone is down (with the help of Ronan), Enchantress tells Ronan to drop his weapon, and she then finishes him off with magic.

And Jeff-E's-
(One thing everyone has to remember about my team, with the exception of Pip, Blind Al,Tag, and Nitro, my entire team is made up of some of the best fighters in the MU, Wade,Ronan,Paibok, and Bishop were all given tons of military training, while Blink grew up in a war-zone, and faced down one of the most powerful people in her reality. Nitro has had training though not formal) Knowing who the two most dangerous players are on the field, the 'Pool Party springs in to action, Pip, takes Bishop, and Deadpool with him as he teleports in grabs Gideon and teleports as far away from the fight as possible, since Gideon's power can only work on those in his proximity he has no real ability to copy and once away would loose any he has, he can get Wade's healing factor, and Bishops energy absorbtion but if no one directs energy his way it's kind of wasted and DP's healing factor may come in handy, but it still takes time to heal from any wound that may be inflicted. He shouldn't be able to mimic Pip's ability since it's origin is in the Space infinity gem, and there is no proof that Gideon can mimic cosmic items. Pip immediatly teleports away from the group.
As Pip grabs Deadpool and Bishop, Tag and Blink make their play at the same time, Tag uses his "tag" ability on Blink who teleports immediatly next to Rachel(Blink has shown faster than full on manifestations of the Phoenix, Rachel isn't as good as the actual phoenix[Exiles 4 or 5]) this causes Rachel to abandon rational thought and flee (we've seen this happen in earlier issues of New Xmen). Rachel may be fast in her power use, but Blink is faster and she and Tag were already touching so this move is basically pulled off instantly, as well as this, teleporting can throw off a psychic and causes them to have to re-lock on a mind. Blink uses her ability to teleport to keep up with Rachel no matter where she goes.
As thse two moves are made, the rest of the team splits up and takes flanking positions. Paibok does a flyby on Scrambler, who has a great power but he is only a man who has been shown in the past to have a glass jaw while Paibok is a trained soldier with super strength. It shouldn't be difficult for Paibok to chase down and smack Scrambler who has no real training. Plus if Paibok feels he can't get close enough to Scrambler to hit him without getting touched himself he can fry him from a distance with his electric bolts.
While DP, and Bishop take Gideon on one on two, Blink chases down Marvel Girl, who can't concentrate on anything but avoiding Blink, thanks to Tag. Ronan, and Nitro take on Enchantress where ever she has ended up, if she uses her ability to teleport, or not, they push the attack on her. Her "mind" control power works by kissing people so that shouldn't be too hard for a trained Kree accuser to avoid, also if she hurls spells at them, Ronan can use the Universal weapon as a shield as it will deflect and absorb energy hurled within a vicinity. Nitro may be the easier target but it's hard to kiss anyone when everytime they punch you there are micro explosions. Enchantress is powerful but between Nitro's mini-explosions and Ronan using the Universal Weapon to erase gravity around her in second long bursts keeping her from casting any spells, she should be held at bay until Paibok circles around, then she faces Ronan, Nitro, and Paibok 3 on 1. She is a goddess, but two of these numbers are highly trained soldiers in their respective armies, this should allow Paibok and Ronan to dodge her anytime she attempts to "kiss" them. Eventually she would fall to their combined might, being overwhelmed by numbers. Remember these three inparticular have on their own taken on The Avengers, Fantastic Four, Thor (with and without the Avengers), and Captain Marvel.
Blink still chasing down Marvel Girl begins "herding" her by teleporting in just the opposite place she wants her to flee(basically if she jumps to MG's left she flees right). Ronan has made himself invisible, and after dealing with enchantress sets himself in to position, finally Blink chases MG in to the right area where she is slammed in the face with The Universal Weapon, again another powerful player, but one who has essintially human physiology and as such a blow from a alien weapon weilded by an alien with superstrength should be more than she can handle in her mental state.
Gideon is the final player left on the field, and because of the nature of his power the entire Pool Party team backs away from him, with the exception of Bishop, and Deadpool, and while Gideon is a great fighter, Deadpool is a trained mercenary, who has fought the Avengers before, and Bishop was a Mutant hunter in his time, so it should only be a matter of time before these two put Gideon down. Between Deadpool asking him "Dude, whats up with that freakishly long ponytail, and green, I know that cant be your natural hair color... not that I was looking or thinking about it or anything, its just DUDE YOUR, HAIR, IS, GREEN! Who designed you, Liefield? You don't have a normal Liefield look. You look more like a Larsen maybe a wait a minute... YOU ARE A LIEFIELD! Are you as exaggerated as I am, I mean look at my finely chisled buttox, with hair like that I know you look, and the package... whoa momma" and singing "Hit Me Baby One More Time" to him for distraction, and Bishop's skill he should fall to these two, and though Deadpools healing factor would eventually revive him, they could put him down long enough to claim a victory.

Close match, IMO. Enchantress's teleportation combined with Marvel Girl's psychic static might be enough to throw off Jeff's strat. And Nitro exploding immediately would take out some characters.

Hey everybody! Marvel League, huh? I've missed out on some matches, sorry I wasn't paying attention. I'm here now, though. That should count for something!
Gotta give this one to Jeff-E. Nightcrawler's opening move of forcing Nitro to explode kinda fails on a few points: ONE blink is teleporting half the folks away and two: Racheal wouldn't kill anybody. Nitro kills....I assume folks can't act contrary to themselves, so I don't go for Rachael killing all the folks in one swoop.
Next, Blink and Pip are doing some good counter Teleporting.

I vote for Jeff E, it kinda seems like Marvel girl is doing alot, all the while Jeffs team kinda scrambles via teleporation

Would a psi as powerful as Rachel be influenced by Tag's power? I'm not sure; if not, then I think Nightcrawler wins this battle.
What does everyone else think?

well im not 100 percent sure on that, his powers, like Karma and Empath are extremely specialized, so they pack more potency, not to mention he was taught by Emma frost, but i could be 100 percent wrong so who knows

Do you know (about) which issue?

He never got the chance to use his power on Rachel, what I meant was that the nature of his power is that you are overwhelmed with the desire to flee the target with no rational thought this had been demonstrated in early issues of New Xmen (on regular mutants as well as telepaths as the power is based on psoinic impulse) when the Hellions fought the New Mutants, and he was trained by Emma before his depowerment. I believe he even used his power on Emma and other telepaths, in New Xmen #4 it shows when he uses his power on a person (a telepath here) the only thing a person can think is "must run from..." whomever thats the nature of his power.
Last note, Psionic static won't work on Ronan, his cloak gives him many powers including telepathic shielding, and the invisibility I used in the battle. Not all his powers come from his Universal Weapon.
