View Full Version : Would you like to read a "Green Goblin Loves Gwen" series?

I thought it might be interesting. There's this whole untold story where Gwen's in Europe and maybe Greeny is trying to track her down and prove his love to her. But every time he gets close to winning her heart, he doesn't quite get there. They could go to the Alps or something. There could be this scene where this suave ski instructor is hitting on her and he's jealous so he pushes him off a cliff with his glider. Ha Ha. You may say this is stupid, but who says this couldn't have happened? Anything is possible in the Marvel Universe. Face front, true believers.

There have a lot of Sins Past-related threads over the past few months! I say no. I don't want Marvel to ever reference that story again so we can all believe it's out of continuity, which will allow us to keep the original spirit of Gwen's story.

That storyline is by far the worst thing to hit spidey probably ever. Makes me happy as a fan of the clone saga, since fans now have a new punching bag storyline. But actually, I'd love to see a Goblin loves Gwen series, purely for the comedy of it. It'd be pretty funny as an all ages book (especially sitting next to Spider-man Loves Mary Jane on the shelf), but it might be even more hilarious if they played it straight.

'Sins Past' is in continuity. Deal with it! :p
Regarding a Green Goblin loves Gwen series, no. Just no.
I loved both Sins Past and Sins Remembered a lot, but I would have to draw the line at this. I can appreciate what Messiah Complex was saying about a title like this being quite funny though but still...no. Not now, not ever.

That's the only way I'd like to see something like this, as an outside-of-continuity mocking satire of the ridiculousness of the whole Sins Past story.

Funny idea, but we're not doing the whole "Sins Past" thing again here. :)
