Next week, Marvel has a $1.00 MAX sampler scheduled to hit shops. Which new MAX titles interest you?
I doubt I'll buy any, but I'll at least flip through HAUNT OF HORROR.

They're doing a new FOOLKILLER series? Huh.
Had to go with ZOMBIES, though. Kyle Hotz is a good artist and.....well, it's zombies people!! :p

Zombies. It's by Hotz.
The steep price of $4 prevents me from testing out stuff like "Son of Satan".
I might be interested in Foolkiller depending on the creative team.

Hellstorm. I've always liked the character, and I wondered where Russ Braun disappeared to after his few issues of Animal Man. I really liked his art back then.

None of the above. The only title that would even halfway appeal to me might be Wisdom, except for the fact that I seriously grew to hate the character back when he and Kitty Pryde were together in the original Excalibur. He was a jerk then, he's still a jerk, I don't want to read about Jerks.

There's still an ongoing MAX Punisher book.
And MAX still exists as an imprint for stories that can't be told to an all ages audience.

I'll check out Haunt Of Horror and Zombie. I may look at Foolkiller but wish Steve Gerber was handling it.

My vote went for Hellstorm: Son of Satan I was a big fan of the 90's series.

Isn't Haunt of Horror the Richard Corben miniseries that all three issues of have already shipped? The hardcover's out this week.

I put Zombie, Wisdom and Hellstormm on my pull list as soon as they were solicited.
Didn't bother with the last Haunt title, so I probably won't pick this one up either, but may buy the Hardcovers when released.
Didn't know about Foolkiller until seeing it on this thread, will be adding it as soon as it's solicited.

Yep, but that's a Poe collection. The new series is a Lovecraft story. Haunt of Horror presents different classic horror stories in a comic format. I believe that they are modern adaptions not the original story though.

I'm interested in Hellstorm and Zombie, I was thinking of waiting for the trade on these two books. So I'll get the sampler to decide whether the trade is worth it.

Are there other horror writers who should get the Haunt Of Horrror treatment?

I picked up the first issue of Zombie and liked it. I will check out Wisdom, Foolkiller, and Hellstorm. I know I wont be buying all the issues of all of those titles, but I'll at least pick up #1 of each.
none for me, but ill have a flick through the sampler see if anything does catch my eye

I'm a huge fan of the MAX inprint and concept. Definitely looking at that sampler but right now I voted Lovecraft and Follkiller. Definitely not interested in Wisdom.

None of them spark the slightest interest in me. The only reason I clicked this link is to see if there was a book I didn't know about.

I'm gonna go with Wisdom for now, if only because I don't know that much about the other books. They've all got my interest peaked a little though.
