I'm eating some leftover Chicken Tikka Masala and it's even better than yesterday. YUM! (But ow, it burns.)
What are some of your favorite leftover foods?

I don't know about anybody else, but I think stew is much better the next day.

Meatloaf, sheppard's pie, and homemade soup.

Lasagna is often times better the next day because the sauce has really soaked into the noodles. Mmmm, lasagna... ugh ugh ugh ugh *drools*

Meatloaf
Good call Ed, meatloaf definitely ages well.

Not only is risotto better the day after, it's better if you microwave it the day after.

How about thousand-year eggs? :)
(DISCLAIMER: I'm joking. I know that thousand-year eggs actually take only about 100 days to prepare.)

Thirded. My mother used to make an extra loaf just so we could have cold meatloaf sammiches the next day.
BTW, the BEST way to reheat day-old pizza is on a frying pan. It keeps the crust nice and crusty.

Anything from Pizza Hut microwaved on high for exactly 54 seconds. Trust me. It's in the Bible.

Mmmm... meatloaf sammiches!
We use to have trifle every Christmas, that's my favorite leftover desert. Custard, lady fingers, strawberry stuff and real whip cream. It somehow gets better with age.

And the right fried chicken almosts tastes better cold.I used to love cold fried chicken. L O V E D I T!!! Then ten or so years ago I got food poisoned-ed from it and spent an evening alternating between curling up in a ball on my office floor and kneeling before the porcelain god.
I haven't trusted cold chicken since.

Left-over spare-ribs are a favorite of mine....
Oh hell, who am I kidding? Ribs are my favorite at anytime!
Anyway ... I've found that they reheat well and maintain their flavor.

Frikadeller!
My mother is Danish and when I was a kid a family favourite meal was Frikadeller (Danish meat balls). She always had to make a huge batch because we all liked them sliced on sandwiches the next day. I never grew up eating meatloaf but I think this is kind of similar.

My enchiladas are better the second day.

Potato salad. Pasta salad.
And Taco Cabana fajita tacos. Something about the cheese makes it blend perfectly with the reheated meat.

BTW, the BEST way to reheat day-old pizza is on a frying pan. It keeps the crust nice and crusty.I use a 2-stage method - a few minutes in the microwave, and then into the (pre-heated) oven, on the ceramic pizza stone.

Meatloaf sandwich on a round roll with a bit of ketchup is my favorite. Stews are also very good the day after.

My wife and I are in the habit of saving a bit of steak when we have it for dinner and then having a small serving of steak and eggs for breakfast the next day. Sometimes we even cut it up and use it in a stuffing for an omelette.

Two words.... Bannana Pudding
that is if there's any left the 2nd day.
That goes for pasties as well.
I disagree on the pizza, I mean I like it the 2nd day, but it's not better.

Depends on the pizza. Last week the pie we ordered was too crunchy.
The next day, 40 secons in the microwave and it was pizza heaven.

The leftovering process is the great equalizer when it comes to pizza. Bad pizza upon delivery usually becomes pretty good when reheated the next day.

This is gonna sound gross.....but the only way I can drink soda, any soda, is if it is flat. No carbonation, no nothing. I love flat soda.

Seconded on the stew front. All the veg and mushed up into the gravy to produce slop. Great tasting slop, but slop nevertheless.
Poured over a think slice of bread its fantastic.
And reheated pizza is a gift from the gods.

I love eating chili on the day after. Hell, sometimes I won't even eat it the first day and wait until its a day old. All of the spices seem to come together better and make this awesomely meaty spicy concoction evern more meaty and spicy.
I want to make chili right now.
Edit: I also love cold french fries. Mmmm...

Some people set pies out on the windowsill to cool, I like to set open jars of mayonnaise to heat in the open sun.
The hallucinacions are SO worth it.

Greese soaks in, makes it less cruncy.
Disgusting, but true, and tasty.

Homemade chili, soup, tomato sauce, and before I became a vegetarian meatballs all are much better the next day or the day after.
Cold pizza the day after a night out can be like heaven. If you can reheat it properly it can be even better.

I'm sorry, I was looking for a witty retort to your post (I almost forgot. Flat soda (or as we call it, "pop") is, in fact, gross.) and found this site. I agree with them: 'Dr. Bold' is awesome, just for the name.
War of the Off-Brand Sodas (http://www.americaninventorspot.com/war_of_off_brand_sodas)
Overall: 10. Normally this would get about a 6 or so, but it gets 4 bonus points for the name, which is far better than Dr. Pepper. Who really wants to drink something that has ‘pepper’ in the title? No, no. It needs to be something more Bold. Dr. Bold. Shaken, but not stirred. This truly is a drink deserving of its own line of action movies.

Back when I was a teenager, I only drank Coca-Cola if I had stirred it enough to be flat.
Couple of years later, I went back to liking them fizzy.
I'll second the pasties, they are better the second day.

Flat soda is just sugar juice.

Apple pie. Feck, any homemade baked goodies are better the second day.
All soups, stews, chili, better the next day.
And while I almost always have coffee brewing, I save 1 or 2 cups for early the next morning while we wait for the bus. Overnight fermented caffiene goodness nuked for 65 seconds.
That'll wake yer arse up.
