About 12 years ago, I wasn't really into Superman, but for some reason, I bought the TP of the Trial of Superman, cause it looked like fun.
So its taken me 12 years to get around to reading it, and it turns out it is a lot of fun. I can't believe how much I'm enjoying it.
Anyone else enjoy it, or am I insane?

I remember enjoying the story, though it occasionally dragged. My only real complaint was when the Cyborg took out (if I remember right) Superboy, Supergirl and Steel in one page. That should have been a long, cool fight. I don't mind the Cyborg beating them, but not so fast.

I loved that storyline. I actually have all of the original issues, which I will now look up and read again since you've made me think of them for the first time in several years. :)
Oh yeah, and SPACE PIRATES! Does anybody know whether or not that Space Pirate dude ever appeared again (or before) in the DCU? Freelance, I think his name was.

Trial of Superman was awesome. I love how Prime One (i think that was his name) became somewhat of a Knight Templar, dedicated to bringing justice to Superman at any cost. And Freelance was pretty cool, too.

Yes, I agree with you...
But then I remember that Hank Henshaw is just that cool. Oh, and don't forget he also defeated the Eradicator, who always was despicted as the only one of the four supermen who could fight Cyborg Superman one to one. The Steel-Eradicator fightin Reign of Supermen was pretty awesome, by the way..

God, it's been so long since I've read this.
I remember it was a lot of fun at the time. I should really go back and reread some of those 90's Superman stories.

Hmm, I'm interested in reading this. Can you give me a sneak peek? And what's the issue's number?

I haven't got my back issues with me so I can't post any scans. Sorry.
The Supermanhomepage has got some reviews up here (http://www.supermanhomepage.com/comics/post-crisis-classic-reviews/c-review-classicpostcrisis.php?topic=c-review-cl-trialofsupes) if that helps any.
It showed up in Action Comics # 716-717, Adventures of Superman # 529-531, Superman # 106-108, Superman: The Man of Steel # 50-52, and Superman: The Man of Tomorrow # 3. Those issues shouldn't be too hard to track down if you're patient or you can't find that trade.

Poor Mope!!!! *begins bawling*
I like the bug dude. What was his name? He took them down to a planet where they got blasted and then shrugged it off as nothing.

Yeah, the trade will probably be easier than the individual issues if not cheaper. If you can't find it at the LCS or amazon, try ebay or alibris or abebooks.
Good luck and your welcome.
