OK i've been looking everywhere for issues 27 and 28 of teen titans...so can someone tell me what happenes in them, because issue #29 makes no sence...also when should i read the "secret files and origins" of teen titans?

One more thing...what's the Deal with donna troy, i don't really want to buy the TPB of her return, so i was just wondering....

In that case, those issues involved Kestrel, a classic Hawk & Dove villain and agent of Chaos, wanting and taking Raven's soul self. The Titans, with Hawk & Dove, travel to Kestrel's dimension to reclaim Raven. The issues themselves do not tie into #29. I guess it should also be noted that these issues take place shortly after Robin's father dies.

OK I just read issue #30, and I was wondering why the little archer girl is not a virgin any more? Who did she do?
Also, whem is the best time to read the secret files and origins of TT and Outciders?

The archer girl (Speedy) used to be a prostitute. She has AIDS. So she probably "did" a lot of guys.

Yep. She's from Kevin Smith's revival of Green Arrow back in 2000. She was a rescued street-prostitute Ollie "adopted." Recently, after Winick took over Green Arrow, he revealed that Mia was HIV positive.

She's HIV positive, but it hasn't progressed into AIDS yet. Ollie's already promised her that there's no amount of money he wouldn't spend for the most effective treatments to keep it from progressing too fast.

And she wasn't a ho, so much as she was a child prostitute. A forced child prostitute.

And Judd Winick is the current writer on Green Arrow.

She also pretty convincingly died in Green Arrow #57. Ahhh...the joys of ignoring Judd Winick's stories.

Yeah, but by the logic of that point many characters would be dead including Green Arrow (twice now since he was actually dead for awhile) who appeared mortally wounded by Merlyn prior to One Year Later and also Conner since he was in the building with Mia that exploded.

This current arc in GA, I think, is him trying to explain exactly WTF happened after that. Green Arrow pre-OYL was basically a massive clusterf*** of ill-timed elements (that's a trend with Winick's superhero writing), combined with characters being idiots (Speedy II), and combined with completely unncecessary death and violence (another Winick staple).

And what you end up with a horrible book that no DC writer wants to touch or reference.

She was hit by one of Doc Lights light blasts. Her heart stopped, her breathing stopped, Black Lighting tried to resucitate with his lightening to avail. Then on top of that, the building was blown up and she was never seen again in a GA comic Pre-OYL.

She was then used in the Geoff Johns in his IC related stories.

Mia never showed up after that though. Conner did and was badly hurt. Conner was also very much alive when the building exploded. Mia was not alive, and not found.

It just plain doesn't add up. Now, if you don't want to use your brain when you read, stuff adding up doesn't matter. But, if you do, that kinda mattes a lot.

It's just more than his Green Arrow that makes me think Judd's stories were ignored by just about everyone else at DC. It didn't seem that there was much communication between Winick and DC. Because of his Green Arrow mostly, I refuse to support a Judd Winick written book.

I see that Paul Newell deleted my earlier post in here, where I gave my scathing criticism of Rob Liefeld's "abilities".

I guess anything less than glowing endorsement of the comics political machine, he chooses to call "off topic", so he can delete it.
