Congradulations. You are a whitness to an unpresidental event in the DC comics universe. All of your faveorite titles are coming out in the same week. not olnly that but you just got a bonus check at work that is just enough to buying all of these issues.

What are they and What do you read first.

(the real reason i asked this is because i was wondering how do you deside what to read first. My first two this week were Birds Of Prey and Superman because i bought them from a different shop. so im curious how do you pick the order of comics you read each week.

I've been getting most of what DC puts out each week, ever since 52 came out.

I read 52 first. Always.
Then I read whatever Batman/Detective or Batman related issue I got.
And after, I read that whatever else I get, whether it is JLA, GL, Flash or Superman.

For example, this week I read 52, then Robin and Superman. And I just bought Catwoman, checkmate and BOP yesterday and I read them in that order. And today I read Flash in store and bought it later, only because the owner saw me read it.

I'm a believer in delayed gratification, so I usually read the comics I'm most interested in last as opposed to first. With DC, as of late I've been reading 52 last, Batman/Detective next to last, prior to that I'll read Checkmate, Manhunter, JLA, etc. Even with the Marvel, Vertigo, and Wildstorm stuff mixed in, I've still been reading 52 and the Batman books last or next to last, since I've really been digging them.

I used to be like brundlefly and save the best for last. With all the great stuff happening on the books I'm currently reading (mostly Marvel stuff) I'm now reading my favorites start. I usually read Detective comics first, then Secret Six followed by Wonder Woman (if it ships that month).

I always read in this order....somewhat.

I read the title I'm least interested in first, and then my prize of the week last...which has really been 52 lately. I've been starting with Flash a lot first lately. Then Green Lantern. Then Trials of Shazam. Then Teen Titans. Then Wonder Woman. Then Superman. Then Batman. Then JL. Then finally 52.

Although I always read Walking Dead last when it comes out because it takes a while to work up the nerve.

Aways in order o art preference.

Favorite artist first (and usually several times), then down in decending order.

Which of course for me, since I dislike most comic art, means few titles that I buy.

I'll always read the books I'm most excited in first, and this is usually based on the characters and/or creative teams.

I'll always read 52 first, since it features 4 of my favourite DC characters - the Question, Adam Strange, Rene Montoya, and Booster Gold.
Then I'll read JSA, my all-time favourite DC team. I'll usually read any other books that feature these characters as well.
Then JLA, although that may change depending on how subsequent issues go. I've enjoyed the 2 issues that have been released so far.
Then All-Star Superman, for the amazing creative collaboration of Morrison and Quitely.
Then it's GL and GLC, because I love the Corps.
Then Checkmate, which has been a surprise for me, since I wasn't sure I'd like it as much as I do.
Then Titans (I'm a big Johns fan).
Then the Batman and Superman titles, since I'm loving the creative teams on those books right now. That includes Catwoman and Robin.
Then I'll read the rest in whatever order I feel like at the time (Secret Six, Shadowpact, Aquaman, Hawkgirl, Atom, Blue Beetle). These are the books that I like enough to buy then, but they don't hold the same excitement for me as the other books do.

Delayed gratification. It's the only way to do it. Save the best for last.

Occasionally I pick up a 'try out' book. Something I've been hearing about so I grab it up. Sometimes read that last so I can let it simmer and sink in a little more than the others.

I read any issues that are the conclusion to an arc first. Then it's in random order except I save the two books I am most excited about for last. Then I drag out the books that had story arcs concluded & reread the completed arcs.

Whatever doesn't make me want to gouge my eyes out gets read first.

Fables is that comic...Jack of Hearts is a close second.

My I.Q.

At least in regards to non-spatial stuff like maths and English and science.

I'm 124 on the spatial stuff.

I'm a save the best for last kinda cat, too.

However, the one book that simply defies that is JONAH HEX. I usually can't even wait to get home from the shop to read it; sitting in my car and devouring it. Dee-amn, it's a great book!

I always read All-Star Superman first no matter what comes out that week. After that I read titles that I buy for whatever reason but don't enjoy that much (Greg Rucka's Wonder Woman was in this category, so is Legion of Super-Heroes most of the time). Then I read the stuff that I'm looking forward to (Wonder Woman, Shark-Man, Godland, etc.)

Kinda depends on what's happening in each book at the time, but always the ones that hold the most excitement and the greatest "what's happened since last I read this" factor get read first. JLofA and 52 are first; then various other titles until we get to Atom, JLA Classified and Aquaman dead last as these titles are currently holding no excitement value for me.
