More violence by religious extremists.
Obviously there's just no reasoning with these people and they need to accept that their religion needs to be drastically reformed because as it stands now they're a threat to the whole world.

Executions of Muslims spark riots
By Indonesia correspondent Geoff Thompson
Hundreds of rioters protesting against the execution of three Muslims have torched buildings in Indonesia.
The mob has also attacked a prison in West Timor and 200 inmates have escaped.
The executed Muslims - Fabianus Tibo, Dominggus Silva and Marianus Riwu - were convicted of leading Muslim militias when sectarian violence in Sulawesi took more than 1,000 lives five years ago.
The three were born on the island of Flores in Indonesia's East Nusa Tenggara province, where most people are Muslim.
The town of Atambua, on West Timor's border with East Timor, is also within the province.
Stone throwing mobs there have attacked the state prosecutor's office and set alight the home of the chief prosecutor.
Police posts and shops have also been targeted by the violent mobs.
Mobs have also torched government buildings in Central Sulawesi.

Am I supposed to feel better because they are rioting and burning buildings over the executions of Christians? (Your intentional use of Muslim in your posting and misquoting of the article to replace the word Christian with Muslim was a little hamhanded BTW.) Or is this just a "well Christians do it too, so lay off the Muslims" threads.

Nah, he's just trying to point out the stupidity of Dalek thinking:
If they do it it's bad. If we do it it's good.
Also, if they do something bad it's because that's the way they are. If we do something bad it's because of circumstances.

Neither of which is Ian's point. His thread is a play on an earlier (and now closed) thread titled Muslims to Execute Christians in Indonesia (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=144408) because three men who happened to be christians had received the death penalty for their roll in a massacre. The actual first post of the thread subsequently put the onus on all of Islam for the sentence even though it was it being done by the Indonesian state. Over the past week there has been a lot of Islamophobia going around, much of it based on poor information and applying the actions of certain groups to be representative of an entire religion. His thread is a specific rebuke to this "better than them" mentality.

I think there are passages in the Koran that offer eternal rewards for those who kill infidels. Maybe I'm wrong.
Sure every religion has it's sectarian killers but when the killing of 'infidels' is built right into the scripture it's no surprise that that group will do more killing. And if we look around the world wherever Muslims make up a considerable percentage of the population they start killing for
Allah.
A Muslim friend of mine told me that there was a passage in the Koran about the special rewards in Heaven for whatever Muslim army conquers Rome. Muhammed was a general.
Although he was a little camera shy.

Leading me to conclude that this thread should in fact follow suit.

Great!! I'm glad to hear my threads arent the only ones getting closed. CBR seems to only be able to handle rainbows and butterflies. As for this thread. No comment.

There DOES seem to be a distinct lack of threads about evil foriegners and smelly homosexuals. I guess that's the same thing as only having rainbows and butterflies.
