Well seeing as how the Thunderbolts murdered him TWICE, I'd bet he'd join with the anti-regs just out of spite.

Actually, i think he'd side with Cap anyways. He's always respected Cap alot, especially back when he was bonded with Rick Jones since Rick and Cap were close. I never really saw a respect and friendly connection between Genis and Iron Man in their encounters like Genis had with Cap. I dont think he could side with Iron Man over Cap.

Course, that didn't stop Genis from deciding to attack Cap and the New Avengers in TBolts.

I don't know which side Genis would be on... I can't see him on Zemo's side. But Zemo's on everyone and no ones side, so that doesn't really help.

Given that Nitro killed his dad, maybe he'd be with Logan and just stay clear of the whole thing and focus on Nitro.

He never really attacked Cap in the fight in New T-Bolts. If you notice, he only struck Cap once, while everyone else he didnt really care about. He kinda steered clear of Cap in that fight, even saved him from a bunch of falling boulders and everything. Genis respects Cap very highly.

I don't deny that Genis respects Cap, but nonetheless it's obvious that he's willing to attack Cap for the government. Which doesn't necessariy mean he'll be PRO mind you... just that his respect for Cap wouldn't prevent him from attacking him if he felt that way.

Well like i said. Even with the government BLACKMAILING the T-Bolts to fight the Avengers, Genis still showed alot of restraint against Cap, which he didnt really show against Iron Man and Spidey. I mean, Genis even saved Cap from being buried beneath rubble. I gotta say i think Genis would be anti-reg with Cap. Either that, or neutral like Wolvie and the Thing (read latest FF issue, which chronologically is after CW #4)

This has never been a good or believable character even in the context of suspension of disbelief. Marv Vell was a true and intriging Hero. But his "Son" Wasnt IMO.

And that was his hook. He was always trying to live up to his father's name but always falling short. Classic father/son relationship.

If Genis does come back, who knows? He may have his own opinion on the matter and not side with whatever side his friends are on. I hate when people say that such a person would be anti cause they're friends with Cap, or he'd be pro because he teamed up with Iron man. That only works with a select few people (like Hercules) most of the others are making decisions on what they believe in, whether it's personal morality or belief in the letter of the law.

i would like to see rick jones pop up during civil rebonded with genis and due to his newfound cosmic awareness mightly pissed at what ironman and friends did to banner and maybe just to make me happy and exact a little vengeance on the thunderdolts for murdering genis.
