*Spoilers for CW4 ahead!*

Ok, so we know that Spiderman's new suit is sending out all kinds of information.

We also know that Spidy has had the longest history with clones in the MU.

What if Tony, Hank and Reed found out how to clone because of information they extracted from Peter's suit?

Looking at Peter as the source of the cloning info makes the move to give Norman Osborn a second chance that much more logical. What if they used the Green Goblin to get the last bits of info they needed to clone super-humans after Peter's suit told them it was possible?

Interesting theory, but I think it could only be part right at best. It is possible that Reed, Tony, and Hank could learn how to clone from Spidey, but cloning a god is way different than cloning a normal superhero. Plus, how would they "clone" his hammer?

The didn't "clone" Mjolnir. They manufactured it. There's a panel in CW #4 that clearly shows Mjolnir with a "side panel" taken off, a circuit board beneath, and wires leading into the device.

It's a manufactured weapon. I suspect done using some of the same lessons that Tony learned in creating the "Thorbuster" armor.

Sorry bout that, I'm not picking it up until this weekend. Still though, cloning a god is way different than cloning someone like Spidey.

Oh Osborn is definitly involved. When it comes to clones Norman has more experience than Reed,Hank,or Tony.

How do you 'learn how to clone' from someone who has been cloned? All you do is take samples from the person, they don't necessarily know anything about the cloning process.

Well from what i know about fictional storys about clones or replicas is that the first one is always as good as the original, a limited group up to 12 also is still strong but as soon as they beginn to mass produce the plot will beginn to make them totaly weak cannon fooder.

So bascily if they mass produce Spideys they will be nothing more than weak wall crawlers even minor heros can fight against.

Which will be just like those two mercenary girls Blackbox used against Cable and Deadpool.

Millar or not, I don't think Joe Q would ever ever ever ever ever let there be another spider-clone....ever. Everyone else, ok, but NOT spidey.

It would only work if Peter was the clone, and even that is iffy. But he is not.

The Thor clone is probably not a truly perfect clone. Similar to DC's now-dead Superboy, they made an imperfect clone of the original and had to take certain liberties with the genetics to make it work. So the clone looks and sounds like Thor, and probably has a lot of his strength. Immortal? Hardly, more like it will burn out quick from the powers it uses.

Now the fake Mjolnir. That is relatively easy. It needs to return to the clone after he throws it, and generate wind and lightning. So it has an flight unit built in with a processor programmed to return it to the clone's hand. And it generates lightning by creating a massive electrical arc thru it's circuitry as well as having some kind of miniature wind machine in there too. Encase everything in an ultra-strong metallic casing to handle the impacts from the clone throwing it at things and viola. Impossible by our standards currently, but not for the combined inventiveness of Stark and Richards.
