Sorry to be so very dorky (on CBR? I know!), but I had to share this:

We got this cat, Checker, a few months ago, and he's been very shy. Usually he just hides under a bed or a chair somewhere, so I'm very pleased to see that not only is he feeling more comfortable in the house, we share some of the same interests (namely, comics and warmth).

If you look at the full size photo (http://www.agitators.com/foto/qatpix/IMG_4816.jpg) you'll see that he, too, has read the bad news about Essential Defenders V2 and he's waiting very patiently for me to pull out my original Defenders comics so he can enjoy the Nebulon/Headmen saga the way it was written.

Mine have learned how to take the lids off of the long boxes; they prefer to lie directly on the top edges of the packed comics rather than the flat cardboard lid. I've tried to discourage this, but it's hopeless...so I just put the boxes of "junk comics" on top...Good thing I'm not much of a condition freak.
