BloodRayne: Plague of Dreams #1 (of 3) ships tomorrow! And if you live any where around Shreveport, Louisiana, come by Excalibur Comics located at 802 E. 70th Street this Saturday, the 23rd! I'll be signing copies.

Artist Kody Chamberlain (TAG, 30 Days of Night: Blood Sucker Tales) will also be there signing books. Artist Rob Guillory will also be appearing.

For anyone who liked Lycan Rex last year, Plague of Dreams has all the great elements of that one shot, but steps it up a notch. Robinson's artwork is better this time around with more detail, more kinetic action, and more emotion.

The coloring is alive and vivid.

My only comment would be to build in some scene change notifications. Things jump around a lot. Different coloring for the dream sequence, the Brimstone Manor sequences, and the location shots would have helped me keep track of what was happening. Some long distance, wide-angle camera shots would have set the scene and said, "You are here."

Otherwise awesome. Can't wait for the rest.
