What do i need on my new computer?

I'm geting my new computer Wenesday and need to reinstal everything.

But what Should i instal?
I'm puting firefox back.i saw there was hadon but i berely understand what thay do or if there any good.

Antivirues antispam stuff? good and free?

I need a new thing to download to.Kazaa suck and my bitcomet is buged.might just download it again.

AVG is a good and free anti virus.

I would put on both adaware and spybot to take care of adware.

Might want to look up a program called PDF995. It can come in handy and it is free.

I run:
Avast Anitvirus (http://www.avast.com/), it's free and works better than most of the software you pay for.

Mozilla Firefox browser with Adblock and Dutchblock installed. Free.

Microsoft Anti-Spyware Beta. They've since released Windows Defender (http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx) which works just as well. Shocking that a Microsoft program actually does what it says it does. Free.

Between this combo, no spyware, adware, or virus is getting through. It beats down 95% of pop-ups, too.

I've even uninstalled Spybot S & D. It was just taking up space.

And you should get VLC media player. Also BS player isn't bad.

You need something to play all that porn with. You really don't want Windows Media unless you like Bill Gates knowing what you masterbate to. That mgiht be your thing. Add a little bit of your jollies for ya. I don't judge. Not something I reccomend, but it's a free contry. Well, for now it is. If you don't install Windows Media Player 10 and up that is.

High Flight recommendations:

Audiograbber, with the LAME codec.

DVD Shrink.

Jarte, a handy free word processor.

AdAware, SpyBot, Trillian, Azureus, Firefox, Thunderbird, AVG and WinAmp are also well recommended, and free or near-free.

For Firefox: SessionSaver and Adblock are tops for me.

Some sort of firewall program is a good idea. I use filseclab (http://www.filseclab.com/eng/products/firewall.htm), but there are lots of options out there.

If you don't want to shell out for Office, Sun's OpenOffice (http://www.openoffice.org/) is a decent substitute.

If you don't want to shell out for Photoshop, GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) is likewise a decent substitute.

All those are free, by the way.
