I had a lousy day at the office yesterday. I was getting the runaround from a lawyer on the other side of a mutual fund launch and she was making my blood boil.
I got home in a pretty foul mood (which I don't like to do to Kat and Logan), but was intrigued by the huge package on the front hall table.
I opened it up and found a couple of CDs filled with tons of music, as well as a ton of good comic reading material.
A while back, I had asked Rick about some music he'd mentioned on the music board and he said he'd throw some stuff on a CD for me. I never imagine the amount of time and effort he'd put into it. One of the CDs even has a cool Lone Ranger picture on it (very nice touch). The funnybook material will keep me entertained for hours, and I'd imagined that it might take days to listen to all of the music.
Rick - I just wanted to say a 'thank you' in public. I was really touched by your thoughtfulness. You put a happy ending on a bad day.
