There's been a mention of Darkhorse buy'n the comic property of this early Mignola series and it have'n plans to relaunch it along with reprints... What's up with that? I mean there has been no news of if they did or didn't turn down this idea. Hope it doesn't land next to the "we'll relunch zombie world" idea which didn't get far from the mini tpb we got... It's just that Fafred is one of these "holy grail" series -> I would love to check it out... Maybe to get dissapointed as I was with Space Odyssey and Ironwolf [and this project could gotten so much better if only the writer would spend some more time on the plot line...] or to be suprised as with the Dracula.
I'd love to have atleast one new story/edition! Mike's post-Epic work with F&GM was good (White Wolf illustrations) if you haven't seen it.
F&GM is definately the one series that put Mike at the head-of-the-class for me.
Maybe Amigo/Cross-Cult will do a lil' B&W edition of the F&GM release! :P

I thought I heard a podcast recently that mentioned David Petersen (creator of Mouse Guard) was interested in that project as well. Not sure how long ago I heard it but I think he said he would love to be involved if he was ever given the chance. I think he'd have a great take on it.
