Has anyone read this (http://www.amazon.com/Barnum-Secret-Service-Howard-Chaykin/dp/1401200737/sr=1-1/qid=1158000836/ref=pd_bbs_1/102-5567869-1028112?ie=UTF8&s=books)? And if so, would you recommend it? Or is it a waste of time?

I always see it on the shelves of comics shops, but have never browsed through it (because it's always wrapped in plastic).

It's a waste of time IMO. Don't bother getting it.

Read it when it came out. I think I liked it OK. Didn't change my life. :)

I bought it for a friend of mine becaue he played Barnum in a Musical and he like comics... He said it wasn't good, so I didn't bother reading it.

No wonder they keep it wrapped in plastic.

It was okay, but not 20 bucks okay.

I got it from the library and at that price, it was a reasonably entertaining read.
