I don't care if it's an absolute or not, but would like it if they were all in one or two volumes. Has there been any plans for it? any reason why not?

The stuff being collected seems to be major historically important stuff: CRISIS, KINGDOM COME, WATCHMEN and SANDMAN.

Not sure TRANSMET is quite up there in importance...

If any Vertigo series is gonna get the Absolute treatment next, I'd like it to be PREACHER.

What's wrong with collecting the ten volumes already available? A one volume eddition be over 1440 pages. It would be hard to read, but it would make a great doorstop.

I'd look into buying an Absolute Transmetropolitan

I'd wouldn't buy am Absolute Preacher if you put a gun to my head.

But it's a mathematical fact that Garth Ennis > Warren Ellis.

I wouldn't at this stage put money down for an Absolute of Transmet. Might have to read the trades I already have that haven't yet been read. Would be cool though. To have all of that slamming down a table leg when you throw it up for a present. Kill that birthday boy in one fell.

I would buy two sets of a 3 or 4 volume Absolute Transmetropolitan. I love Transmetropolitan more than I can put into words.

Same here. Also, I know a girl who loved, loved, loved Preacher...until I loaned her Transmet:)

Oh, so you're one of these people who think that Ennis and Ellis are two different persons?

Good one. You know, I don't think I've ever seen a photo of the two of them in the same room...

Actually, neither of these two people are either Ennis or Ellis. The first one is semi-retired British theatre actor Colin Baharnd, and the second one is one of Ennis/Ellis best friends, Doctor Phileas Benthontin, who sometimes impersonates the author for conventions and photoshoots.
