Just got done reading the X-Cutioner's Song, loved it. But I do have 2 questions...

1. The sword that Stryfe used against Apocalypse, it was said to have been used before. Is that in an issue or is that an off stage happening?

2. Where did Cable and Stryfe go at the end when they were sucked into the energy field?

1. The sword that Stryfe used against Apocalypse, it was said to have been used before. Is that in an issue or is that an off stage happening? It was a throwaway plot. There wasn't anything planned for it, to my knowledge. It was just there because someone felt like it being there.

2. Where did Cable and Stryfe go at the end when they were sucked into the energy field?Supposedly they are lost in the timestream. Readers at this time categorize their staus as "dead". They come back pretty soon afterwards.

I loved X-Force #17... possibly the first time Poccy got his ass kicked.

Yeah, but no one kicked Poccy's ass so hard as Black Bolt. One word and he was destroyed.

It was a House of M tie-in issue of Black Panther. Bolt opened his mouth and blew Poccy and the entire chunk of land he was standing on clear out Wakanda.

Altered reality, true, but they both ostensibly were at their regular power levels.

Yeah, I remember that. I think Stryfe specifically said that Apocalypse had used it to kill him. I would chalk it up to the writer teasing a hint to Stryfe's origin without knowing what it actually was (as his identity hadn't been revealed yet), except it was Nicieza, and Stryfe's identity was revealed the very next month.

So maybe Apocalypse tries to kill him again at some undetermined point in the future?

How do you know it was a throwaway plot? Maybe fabe wanted to get back, but never got around to finishing it?

Stryfe was raised by Apoc, in the waaaaaaay distant future, and it was hinted that during his rather brutal training that Apoc would kill him and resurrect him in his chambers, trying to make Stryfe truelly the fittest.

2. Where did Cable and Stryfe go at the end when they were sucked into the energy field?

In to the time-stream via time vortex. Thats where Cable learned he was the true Nathanial Charles Christopher Askan'i Dayspring Soldier X Summers, and that Stryfe was the clone. He also learned that Sunspots father was killed by Gideon, and all sorts of other nifty stuff, though alot of it was just never talked about.

how is anyone supposed to find anything in a 34 page thread of all X-related questions?

Seperate threads for distinct questions is a better way to go.

The search function. It and the question thread exist for a reason.

Well. Questions usually only require a couple answers. So it's REALLY not that hard to get lost.

Lol and there is the part where...you ask the question in the thread.

Here, have the memo.

And that's ignoring how Apocalypse stood up to Blackbolt when they actually did fight in the regular reality and Apocalypse took the screams with no real problem.

I see not so much ignoring as rectifying an embarassing blunder not unlike the easy resurrection of Wolverine from a polished skeleton.First of all,a mere syllable from Black Bolt was enough to destroy the nega-barrier built by Maxims around Attilan, which had shrugged off with ease nuclear explosions;and it was enough to defeat a Watcher.Apocalypse has been hurt by much less.
Secondly, the very reason why Black Bolt never speaks is because he cannot control his power, and every time he uses it he causes untold destruction over a wide area.Yet in the X-factor issue his scream seemed to have no noticeable effect even on the immediate surroundings.

Thank you for the answers. I did look for the questions thread in the search mode. It never showed up.
