Sort of. It was an Avengers where Cap only appeared once, and Iron Man and Thor could only be seen during the standard title flashing intro scenes. Everybody wore armor, even the Falcon. And there was a stupid moment where everybody armored up each episode, the kind of useless low-grade anime scene where the heroes strike meaningless poses in front of an abstract background while bad music plays. It was one of the worst superhero cartoons ever.

Sorry for not including it

It was called "Avengers: United We Stand" or something like that, and yeah - it was pretty much Avengers-meets-Power Rangers with the armor and the catch phrases and whatnot.

Whenever Scarlet Witch used her power, she said (in an AWFUL Romanian accent) "Winds of Destiny, CHANGE!"

I think that the Avengers cartoon was actually produced in Quebec...ewww.
They're only good for Poutine, not cartoon.

GAWD....

Marvel should bury every copy of this abomination at the bottom of Grand Canyon! I'm not even gonna get into how bad this show was right now. Just watch the clip above and see for yourself. "Avengers armor"....UGH. And Scarlet Witch's stupid accent and propensity for saying "Winds of Destiny change!" Ant-Man lead the team?? No Cap, Iron Man, or Thor??? Not going there.

Best show:X-Men! The REAL X-Men, not Evolution.

Spiderman TAS is the best one, and after that comes X-men.
You forgot the Avengers 90s show too, not big but it should be included.

Fantastic four is garbage the first season but becomes much better the second so that one is not best.
I don't like Evolution at all, the concept of them being in high school age don't apeal to me in the long run, and the show is actuly very recent after the 90s.
I have seen all of those shows within the last year so i have them fresh in mind.

I completely agree with these points.

The Iron Man cartoon had a bad first season as well, but the second season was better, and I think it even featured a multi-part Armor Wars storyline that somewhat resembled the classic Armor Wars issues of the Iron Man comic.

Spider-Man or X Men. Way to hard to decided.

I'm actually kind of torn on this topic, though I voted X-Men, I loved the Spiderman series, and the Hulk cartoon was great. Ironman, F4, and Surfer all had their moments, but Surfer lost because of Nova always having to call the Surfer "Silverado", oh and Thanos' weird pubescent voice changes midspeech. As far as I know the series did have a cool finale though, with Surfer, and Thanos going toe to toe, mano-a-mano, one on one, head to head, you get the idea. Didn't the series just leave off with a scene of the two going at it? F4 had that abomination against god of a theme song remember it? "The 4, na, na, nana. Fantastic 4, na, na, nana. 4 na, na nana..." arghhhh, it makes my head hurt just thinking about it. Ironman though, might have been good unfortunately I don't remember much about it and if it wasn't that memorable, well, it couldn't have been that good, or bad, either. Lastly, I didn't think X-Men Evo came out until 2001 or something, I know it's only off a couple years but... anyway, I'll just shut the hell up now!

Never liked the X-Men cartoon- mainly because I hated the voices!

I voted Spidey. Some good plot-lines, we got a makeshift 'Secret Wars', a few direct adaptions from the comics and some genuinely great stuff. Even had the guts to get rid of a major character (MJ) who DIDN'T come back.

X-Men Evolution was alright- some nice season finales, some good idea, other things done wierdly.

Fantastic Four- I'm sorry. I tried to watch, I really did. But I could't stand the freaky glowing eyes of Doctor Doom, the absoloutely APPALLING opening theme music which, in the name of God, is the cheesiest thing known to man, and some other stuff.

Oh hopw could you not love the Avengers cartoon? It featured the Avengers Digivolving and Baron Zemo's hilarious accent :P

Plus the most unlikely line in the history of super-heroing.

"Only one hero can possibly stand in my way..... ANT-MAN!"

X-Men Evolution was not made in the 1990`s.

Essentially its a vote for X-Men or Spider-Man.Both were extremly good shows,it was a hard vote. But i went with Spider-Man,the voice actors, stories and animation was great for both. But Spider-Man had more characters to go with those stories, but just barely.

X-men gets a slight edge of Spider-man, but only slight.

I also really enjoyed the first season of the Hulk. Great show. I loved how Gray gargolye was always muttering and mocking Leader. "yes yes. 'So says the Leader' we know."

Silver Surfer was really good too. Pity the never finished the series after Tahnos destroyed the Universe.

Spider-man and X-men were by far the best. Hulk was alright, FF was ok at times. I never got to see Silver Surfer, and X-men Evolution was terrible.

Spider-Man was the best of the 90's cartoons.

Evolution was the best. Period.

1. X-Men...without question.

2. Spider-man is a solid second.

3. People don't remember the Silver Surfer series cause it was cut short, but it was fantastic.

4. Fantastic Four was simply intolerable in the first season, but eventually got better.

Haven't seen the rest...and 'Evolution' was in 2000, but if it wasn't, I'd rate it #3....nowhere near TAS. It was just too kiddy, but had its moments.

Spider-Man, with X-Men being a very close second.
