If DC was to say go bankrupt and needed to sell off at least one A-lister to survive, who would you like to see become bart of the Marvel roster of Heroes(or villains)?
My pick Batman. Just a normal man but completly badass.

I'd say none of them. Why should Marvel spend money when they have characters that are similar to them already. Batman pretty much equals Moon Knight or Black Panther, for example.

I'd say Batman because he's the only DC character I find remotely interesting. I've never liked Superman and I really don't care about any of the others.
And in response to Beast: they may be similar but Batman has a large following and is a much bigger name than those two, so I think Marvel would love to take him if they could.

True but Batman always had a deeper story and character whereas Black Panther and Moon Knight were considerd Batman knock-offs when they first appeared.

Teen Titans (Cyborg, Beast Boy, Kid Flash, Robin, Wonder Girl, Raven, Starfire, Superboy)
If I can't pick a team, then Flash (Wally).
I assume they'd be buying that section of the DCU and not just the character, right?

Me, being the little buisnessman that I am, say none, let DC die. Less Competition.
P.S. I have nothing against DC, I don't hat them or anything. But if I was in charge of MArvel, this is what I would do.

I've always wanted to see a Green Lantern in the Marvel Universe, I wouldn't even take one of the DCUs away just create Marvel's own and pay for the rights (shared). Keeping DC afloat from Marvel's persepective would be good for business, competition is healthy just ask the wrestling industry how crappy it's gotten since WWE let WCW go under

I think wonder woman could be cool. I could just picture a giant poster with her and capt. america on it.

Retcon Wonder Womans origin!! She save's Captain America/ Steve Rogers in 1941 NOT Steve Trevor! Then when Cap vanishes near the end of the war she goes back to Paridise island..Then when he is found.. She returns:p :)

i don't think any of them would fit in the Marvel Universe, to be honest. but, if forced to choose, i'd move the entire Uncle Sam & the Freedom Fighters team to the 616. i want to see Sam and Cap interact.

I think from a financial standpoint Batman is a no-brainer.
He's also among the most "realistic" of DC's heroes and would fit well in the Marvel U.
Green Arrow would also fit in well I think for the same reason.

Everyone is overlooking the obvious!
For years, Marvel has desperately tried to promote their version of "Captain Marvel" ever since DC let slip the rights to the name. But no matter how hard they try, Marvel's CM never lasts for long, and in the mind of most comic book fans, there is only ONE Captain Marvel---Billy Batson.
THAT'S the one D.C. character Marvel would kill to get into their universe....

I'm gonna go with Hal Jordan.
Yeah, we've got Doctor Spectrum but he just plain sucks, and we had Quasar who kinda died three months or so ago.
Obviously we need a new cosmic character in the wake of Annihilation, and Hal (and the Corps possibly) fits the bill perfectly.

First off, batman is my favorite DC character, but he lives in Gotham, not Chicago. I agree with Cap'n Marvel. DC bought him, so he was never really their original property anyway. Just ditch the "SHAZAM!" b.s.
If marvel doesn't want Captain Marvel, I'd like to see Green Lantern. I always liked his character design/powers.

Uncle Sam is PRO REG and Beats Cap like a red headed Step Child" I told you never let me catch you breakin' the law boy!" (Slap slap) :p

I think Cat man would be a better choice.... He'd be cheaper to buy and I think he's cooler than Bat-Man. Plus I see good stories with him and Deadpool.
Honorable Mentions
1. Azrael
2. The Demon
3. Prometheus

I agree. They need something unique. Go for Sugar and Spike or Enemy Ace!

Also, he didn't start out as a DC character and is the most popular Superman knock-off around. I could go for this.

But i don't think he fits the marvel universe at all.
And the people writing that they want DC to die should think about that competition is very good, i wish there were more publishers that could compete so we could get even more god comics.

Green Lantern John Stewart.
I'm sure Marvel would treat him alot better than DC is now. Especially if they get either McDuffie or Hudlin on it.

I agree it's the only character that makes sense to me, though I reckon Batman would be the best fit
but the opportunity to actually have Captain Marvel at Marvel is a no brainer

Geez do you like John Stewart because putting Hudlin's name anywhere near it is a death sentence for the character at least writing wise

a) Yes I do like John. And b) I also like Hudlin's writing on BP and the book is going strong because of it. HOWEVER c) I would really prefer either McDuffie or (gasp) Alan Steel or Steven Barnes (both sci-fi writers-though I think I mispelled Alan last name) to do the guy justice IMO.

I would love to see Superman suffer the harder reality of MU. He would suddenly come into a playground where Sentry, Thor, Gladiator also have the same set of cards...so to speak. But I would like to keep Marvel Universe, DC free. I have always been a 100% Marvel and if they mix then it would be bad day for Marvel.
Why would Marvel buy into a franchise that isn't doing so well. Wouldn't that mean that characters are not wanted?

b) I also like Hudlin's writing on BP and the book is going strong because of it. The book is going strong because of constant X-Men tie ins and crossovers.

I don't know, you could argue that just about every major DC character has their Marvel equivalent(s). Captain America is like Superman, a character that's the epitome of truth and justice. The Punisher is a twisted version of Batman. I think they're trying to turn Ms. Marvel into the Wonder Woman of the Marvel Universe. The Vision is a lot like Martian Manhunter, not just in powers, but in his sense of alienation. Green Lantern and co. would make Quasar kind of redundant if they were introduced in the MU. The Marvel Universe has enough speedsters, so Flash isn't really needed. Captain Marvel might conflict with guys like Thor and Hercules. I'm not saying you couldn't introduce any of these characters into the MU and not make them work, but I don't think you really need them, per se.

I'd like it if they got Superman, if only to see Thor and The Silver Surfer kick his ass all over the universe, and DC Fanboys would finally see the reality of what would happen!
