I was looking at this book the other day and it sounded interesting but when I looked for more information on it I found out it was a horror story and I'm not really a big fan of horror so can anyone tell me more about it and what it’s like?

It's very good, probably the best Ellis I've read. It's kind of a horror story in some ways, but also not: It's about a writer named Bret Easton Ellis who eventually gets married and settles down, or at least tries to. But figures from his past, some of them fictional, begin to appear, and weird things start to happen.

It's not, by any stretch of the imagination, a typical horror story. And it doesn't have a long, boring opening section - for a change, Ellis jumps right in.
