Hulk coming back???

Is the Hulk going to come back during Civil War?

Bendis: Things would be pretty bad if he just showed up right there, like dropping a bomb on these guys in the middle of a fight, that'd be the Marvel equivalent of Hiroshima. Just this giant thing happening during the war… it could change the whole thing!

I think he's just speaking hypothetically. From what I understand Planet Hulk is going to end a few months after Civil War (including the delays). It would be cool but I doubt it will happen. Hulk will likely return in the summer and rampage his way through the Illuminati.

Marvel's been kinda teasing fans about The Hulk returning during Civil War for a bit of time now. Planet Hulk doesn't wrap up until next year and an upcoming She-Hulk arc will be titled "Planet Without A Hulk" (featuring She-Hulk taking on Hulk's foes while Hulk is in space).

So I'm doubting very much that Hulk will return during Civil War.

But it would be fun if The Hulk did come back before the conclusion. Imagine if Cap wins the war because of The Hulk.

Iron Man could take the Hulk out with the Hulkbuster armor. Sheesh, he did it in one punch with the classic armor in one of the best battles ever in comics. NOW put that on top of Extremis Iron Man. The Hulk would truly only "win" that fight if Marvel wanted him to in the story. ;)

If the Hulk actually comes back, something big and bad had to have happened on Planet Hulk to force him to go looking for Earth. Like the annihilation wave.
